Did anyone else watch this show both last night and tonight? There was a very strange occurance at the end. It would seem that the celebrities were quiet upset at the choices that were made of who got in the house. All along it appeared to dH and myself that they were going for who would give them a mix in the house and not the best comics. Apparently the celebrities were not told that they were not the only judges but the producers and the excutives from NBC were also judging and they all but said they were looking at who would be in the house together. Some of the people choosen were not that funny and a couple of the others really should have been choosen. We enjoy the show but now I'm not so sure about it. doesn't seem to be on the up and up now.

I saw it tonight and it really left alot of questions. Supposedly its on in the beginning of the show that the producers also get a vote, but I never saw that and obviously neither did the celebrity judges!! I probably won't watch it again, sounds like another American Idol controversy!!;)

I've read a couple of time that the celebs thought they got the raw end of the deal and they were mad they it appeared that they were making the wrong choices. They were upset that the ones they wanted to win didn't, which is probably why they said at the beginning that the producers made the choice too.

It states at the end of every show (by law I think) that the contestants picked to continue are by the celebrity talent scouts, the producers, and the network. Every show does the casting, they are just more upfront about it here. And did anyone else notice that the people that made the most noise about having roomates are in the house now. Hmmm...

Why was Todd Glass picked? Looked like the judges didn't like him either - what an obnoxious idiot (guess that's why they put him in the house). I LOVED DAN!! I think that was his name - he was the one that blocked the cameras at the end saying he had enough of the show. I was crying, I was laughing so hard from his set. I'm just glad that big woman with the big hair and the big voice didn't make it - she was just plain annoying.

And that's why he was picked by the producers. Not all the funniest were picked. The ones that were picked will be the most interesting to watch. That IS what makes the show. Don't ya feel bad for poor Jim Wiggins! He came to Vegas for like 20 minutes!!

I just don't understand this...the funniest guy last night didn't get in. I think when they stated that it's not just the one performance but the "weeks of performances" put together was bogus.

I think these comics should be voted on for "that" performance only, not how they've done all year long....i've never heard of a show doing this.

My DH was so mad, we watched this faithfully last year but now he doesn't want to watch anymore since the guy from NYC who killed it last night with comedy didn't get in.

Part of it is that they probably don't want a one trick pony like Dat again. I know I was getting tired of seeing the same jokes again and again (and this was just from snippets of each set).

Not a surprise! It is ridiculous how the producers go for the controversey rather than have the funniest people in there... that was pretty bad...but why do we let that surprise us anymore.....

With all of the reality shows and the money they make... they just want to make money and THAT is definately the bottom line!

I agree with all of you...!
