I'm second guessing my dining reservations and we are in my 180+10 window. Staying at poly. We do a character meal on our last day usually. (Staying concierge so this is our only breakfast). Traveling with 4 and 9 year old boys.staying at poly.

We are also doing garden grill and Tusker house this trip. (My kids love characters- and they requested Donald Duck and Mickey)

I have done all the above for dinner (not this trip)

Thoughts?

I've found that Ohana has the best quality of food consistently. Since you're staying at the Polynesian the convenience factor of location is a plus, too. If your kids like the fab 5 characters I would do Chef Mickey's, though. I've never had a bad experience there.

If you're doing Tusker House and Garden Grill, I'd opt for Ohana to see some different characters. Convenience points for location too.

We loved 1900 PF! and we're all adults! Different characters and great interaction- and the food is wonderful!

'Ohana is my vote. We're staying Poly as well and opted for 'Ohana breakfast on check out day. We went this past summer when Stitch was still going to tables but now that he's stationed at the front of the restaurant, we'll see what that's like.

1900 breakfast is the best of the three you mention, IMHO. The food is very good and you will see characters that don't appear at the other character meals you have planned. I agree with PP, why not ask the kids and see which one interests them? I also wonder what time you are leaving the resort? If it's on the early side, you may just want to stick with O'hana for convenience.

We won't leave until 11 or 12. Is Winnie the Pooh at 1900? I thought he was, but I don't see it on all ears.

Thanks for the feedback!

I would choose 'Ohana because it is convenient, the food is good, and you can sit and enjoy the food being brought to you rather than making multiple trips to the buffet line.

Ohana is our favorite, and Stitch is the favorite of my boys DS12 and DS6. I also like the fact that it is served family style and you are not having to time trips to the buffet with the characters arrival.

My boys also love Chef Mickey's, but I really do not like the food much and try to avoid it. We still go about every other trip, and the atmosphere with the monorail coming through the hotel is worth the trip to the contemporary if you are not going to be there another time during your trip.

Pooh, tigger, Mary poppins, alice and the mad hatter are usually at 1900 PF. I think it's hard to go wrong with your choices. 1900 PF would be my vote and it's a really easy walk to the GF and then you could take the boat back to the poly. Monorail is easy but now you have to go through security which is a pain if you are just going to the GF.

I was at 1900 PF last Friday, and Pooh was indeed there. You get a pic with him as you leave, in the area that used to be the entrance. Had a great time, and the characters were quite friendly. Alice even sat for a spell!

I have been to breakfast at all 3, and 1900PF is by far our favorite. And the walk from Poly to GF is lovely. I'd rank them: 1900PF by a big margin, then Ohana and Chef Mickey last. The food at 1900PF is the best, and it's overall a much smaller and more intimate restaurant. We have actually started going there for arrival day dinner.

Actually - just realized - it is the one restaurant we tend to do dinner AND breakfast on the same trip. (different characters, different food, all good)

A couple trips ago we did 1900 on our last day. We booked the latest time slot for breakfast we could and it was wonderful. Not crowded at all and lots of great food.
I have never done Ohana breakfast & prefer dinner at Chef Mickey.
