Kind of OT for our cruise, but do any of you keep up with the soap opera "imgoingtodisney"?

This has got to be some of the funniest, but saddest stuff on these boards. I think things just pop into her head and flow out her fingertips onto the keyboard

When I first started seeing her posts, she was concerned about her DH and his pantless state, todat there is already a long thread because she needs to contact her severs prior to seating so she can see about her dining options so he doesn't have to listen to her ask how foods are prepared. Did he never see Billy Crystal fall in love with Meg Ryan in "When Harry Met Sally"?

I can't picture how these people are going to have any fun on this trip

We, by the way, ARE fun people. Really, we get told that all the time. Folks just stop and stare and say "look, now THEY look like fun people". Really, happens all the time

Any ole kind of champagne, Beano? We will be stopping on the way to the port for beer and wine. Are there Publix close by? We always use them when we go to the Keys, they have a pretty big selection for a grocery store.

Great! I can't wait. We usually travel with a large group, this is the first cruise in a long time that has just been our family. It will be nice to meet up with people we've chattted with.

The funny thing about that guy Beano is talking about is he is still on the DIS all the time...we just laugh when we see him post...but I am sure there are people who laugh at us too..

OK, I've added that to the list of things to pack. Actually, DH and I like a certain brand of Asti Spumanti. Would that be ok? Sometimes I can't find it......but if that is acceptable, I'll bring a bottle.... (if not, I'll find a champange),and a 6 pack of Coors Light.

OK Beano..HOW will we know you in port?????????

Last year, we were one of the first ones in line. We waited 2 hours on the floor outside of the "THE MICKEY" but it was worth it. Will you be close by?

I am really looking forward to this cruise. All three kids are in college (whew we made it). I am in a wheel chair (MS) so I hope this cruise will be fun for those of us not totally mobile. Which day is the brunch? Sure would like to meet you all. We are members of DVC. I guess I'll meet some of you at their cocktail party.

I will be among 6 people, all in bright green shirts, running around port acting like morons. Ok, we're not acting. Plus, we plan to be there very early, so we should be near the front part of the line. At least 2 of us, sometimes 3, will have video cameras rolling! The only people that will miss us will be those who WANT to... and they number in the thousands!

We are going to bring something a little bit sexy to drink. It will fulfill the champagne requirement. We might not have enough Coors Light though.

It wasn't me that stole Beano's beer was it? Sounds like something I would do!

Less than two weeks until we leave for WDW! The anticipation is building! Oh, that reminds me. I'd better start cracking the whip around here so I can get my clothes ironed!

I can't believe how busy this thread got today! Are we all just a little excited? LOL. I know I am!

I'll have my hubby pick out the champagne for Beano's party since he's particular. I love the guy, but sometimes . . .

Speaking of DH, I can't seem to motivate him to pack. I'm probably going to end up packing for him otherwise he'd be fine just to throw some underwear in the suitcase and buy clothes at the airport and on board . . . 17 days is still too far away for him to get excited about the trip. Whatever. How can he not be excited?????

Bringing beer along with the champagne was really a joke on Tim's part... I wouldn't have room to keep it all cold! Have you ever tasted Coors Light that went from cold-to-hot-to-cold? Not good! I appreciate any gesture, though!

I will pack my clothes this weekend. I am a guy, but strangely enough, can still dress myself. You should see me in my orange shirt, green shorts, black socks and white dress shoes!! Actually, you might!

Loretta-I've been following IGTD's saga. It's just sad. I think the poor woman needs some friends.

I'm really looking forward to meeting everyone. Only 17 more days!

nicurnc, Rio Grande is all the way down in Cape May County. We will be arriving at the terminal early also. Our flight from Phila. gets in to Orlando at 9:09 AM. I quess we'll kill time and keep busy looking for you quys in line. Should be interesting.

I started getting nervous abouting packing the champagne in my luggage...and we're flying in Thursday with DCL bus transfers, so no way to stop before we get to port...soooooo

Since I was going to order a basket for our friends as a surprise for their anniversary, I will order one for us as well with a bottle of champagne to be waiting for us when we arrive...

There now, no worries. LOL Except, somehow I have to keep from drinking it before Beano's party. LOL

OK...are you really wearing a lime green t-shirt? Because Dillards had t-shirts on sale this weekend, $8.00 and I had a lime green one in my hand, but decided that I might be the only one! Needless to say, I didn't buy one!
