Sorry, but needed a hiatus for a weekend...missed all of you and I am so ready to cruise!

No docs yet.....darn it!
Oh well.....still got some time I guess.

Beano- don't forget we need room at the party too....well, I guess I could just stand on the table or something....didn't I dance on a table last year??? LOL!!!

One thing I figured we could do as far as room in the suite for the We don't usually use the bedroom during the party (It's not THAT kind of party!!!!)

But you and I can hang out in there, Kamy, just for the sake of extra room, ya know.

Just back from SOS. The OD was was in great form... they was shaggin' on the boulevard, the Pavillion, Duck's, Fat Harold's and H's. The weather was perfect! What a beach weekend!! But now everyone will be holding their breath till we see exactly where ole Isabel is gonna turn


No docs waiting for us, either...

That's so true, sorta takes on a whole new meaning, doesn't it?

Of course, Fayetteville is in from the coast, but a big storm like this one covers us as well. Not to mention the hospitals on the coast sometimes have to evacuate patients and our hospital has the closest Level III NICU. I'll be bringing clean underwear, just in case!

Just got the official "better bring your underwear" phone call from work.

This thing keeps on weakening... much better than what we were hearing over the w'end.
Hopefully just lots of wind and rain for us in this part of the state. The Outer Banks look like they will take the brunt of Isabel. They have ordered evacuation of one of the major islands. We will be stocked up here at home and will wait and see what happens

I understand that when the storms are bad in the Caribbean, they actually divert the cruises to Charlotte, NC sometimes. That'd be fun for you guys, huh?

Beano - They can't divert to Charlotte , my inlaws live there plus it is nowhere near the ocean. Maybe you're thinking Charleston, SC?

Loretta-I hope, for your sake, it keeps getting weaker or turns back out to sea.

Beano, I could probably live with Charleston, that's a beatufiful city with a surprisingly tropical influence

Think about the folks who planned to go to Bermuda and ended up in Canada and New England

Now that's really not the same vacation!!
