Last Bus from DTD to Resorts?

Does anyone know when the last busses run from DTD (Pleasure Island side) back to the resorts? The reason I ask is because we might want to catch a late movie on our upcoming trip, but only if we have a way back to the resort.

Thanks!

The remaining bar/restaurants close at midnight at the latest, so you can expect buses to be departing up 'til about 1 a.m. They do their best to make sure guests aren't left stranded.

if you don't get a very very definite answer here on the forum, your next best bet is to wait 'til your at WDW and there you can ask ANY bus driver. Even if they're not seated in a bus driver's seat, you can identify the drivers because they are the only cast members wearing purple pants.

Anyone wearing purple pants should know the answer, but your best bet would be to ask someone at night ... schedules are made by seniority, and the most senior drivers tend to pick the morning shifts ... in other words, you'll get your best answer about late night runs from drivers who work those late night runs on a consistent basis.

The last buses (and vans) to the resorts should depart the Pleasure Island bus stop around 2am. Good idea to double-check with the drivers as CleveRocks suggests.

Fuego by Sosa Cigars is a cigar bar on Pleasure Island that is open to 2am.

Unless the time changes depending on the year, we were always told the last bus from Pleasure Island was 2:15 AM.

We've waited for a long time for a bus at DTD once, then discovered they don't always run so often. I bet in the late night, they are trying to get everyone back, though, so maybe it's better than the afternoon. So, if you don't see one coming, you can always call a cab?

On that topic I don't know how many taxis are waiting at 2:00 AM, however usually during the day and night there is a few taxis just waiting in specific areas if guests need one.

As my friend MICKEEP said, the last bus out of PI is 2am. The 2:15am buses stopped when PI closed the clubs.

The DTD buses run the same 20-30 minute service goal as any other park. For some reason, it just seems longer. Later in the night you will find that they run more often than that. Many times you will get a 10 minute service time between buses.

Like me! 3 years seniority is not enough to get off of nights.
