I'm bumping this thread because I'd love to hear more about the comps from the myVegas game!

There are a bunch of comps to choose from at MyVegas. DH and I went to Vegas for 3 days last June and pretty much all of our meals were covered by MyVegas comps. We are going again in a few week along with our teen daughters and have earned 4 premium tickets to Ka (2nd row center), 4 lunch buffets at the Bellagio, 4 brunch buffets at the MGM Grand and 2 free popcorns at the Sugar Factory. DH and I each have an account and have a bunch of loyalty points left to redeem for our next trip. There is a limit to the amount of rewards you can redeem within a 30 day period. Vegas awards are available at the MLife properties, House of Blues, Sugar Factory, Wolfgang Puck and the Monorail. They have a bunch of rewards available including: comp rooms, show tickets, food credit, buffet tickets, alcohol, monorail tickets, etc. It really is a great program. :)

I was in Las Vegas and got 2:1 tickets to Beatles Love from MyVegas and free rides on the NYNY roller coaster. Its free to play and somewhat addictive at first. If you want more info you should read through the posts on the Trip Advisor Las Vegas forum.

I always stay at the MGM properties, MGM, Monte Carlo, Mirage. They seem much nicer than the hotels owned by Caesars Entertainment (Harrahs, Flamingo, Ballys, Paris. Many of those are in need of a major remodel which is unlikely to happen anytime soon since Caesars will be in bankruptcy soon if they continue on the path they are on.

We stay at the Desert Rose which is behind the Tropicana and Hooters, they have 1 and 2 bedrooms. The front room also has a couch that is a sleeper. It has a full kitchen, laundry facilities. BBQ, gym, pool, Jacuzzi. Free breakfast daily and internet. It is still within walking distance to MGM, NYNY, and all the other things on the end of the strip. We will be there in Aug.

I use priceline for Vegas as can get great deals on the 5* hotels - don't always use the bidding feature as sometimes they have great rates thru their express deals and you can figure out the hotel from better bidding.

Love being able to stay at 5* hotels for cheap prices :rotfl2:

Don't you usually get the Trump if you pick 5* and mid strip?

I'm not much of a gambler at all and I regularly get comped at the Paris. Make sure you sign up for Total Rewards. Paris is in a great location. Also we always find it expensive to eat there so we usually do the Buffet of Buffets once a trip and time it out to get 4 meals out of it. Its around $50 and is good for 24 hours from the time it is purchased.

WOW, Thank you all so much for this thread.
I just asked a Vegas question then did a search.
Should have done the opposite.
I printed out all this informaiton.
