Las Vegas First Time.. Any Tips?

No need for rental car, agree. I go for a week at a time for trade shows, and I get by on foot, uber, taxi, monorail.... and the bonus, no chance of getting a DUI if you decide to have a drink.
It's frigging brilliant. Go to downtown vegas, have fun, and click the app and have a car come to YOU in less than 5 minutes.

Plenty of hotels have car rental locations inside. You could easily get a car for a day if needed.

If the main bus is The Deuce, wouldn't the monorail be Number One?

Don't miss Red Rock, Mt. Charleston, or Valley of Fire if you like nature, need a break from the Strip, and have a car.

Splurge and take a helicopter tour of the Grand Canyon. It's well worth the money! Maverick is the company to go with. We got married on the floor of the Canyon and they handled everything with 5* service. They do all different kinds of tours as well.

We plan on going downtown and also the Zak Bagan’s museum. A friend also said the South Point casino was good.
Thinking about getting the Vegas Go card Anyone have experience with that? Thanks again for all the help!!

From what I have seen the Vegas Go Card isn't very highly regarded. You may find yourself prioritizing getting the value you paid out of the card on your trip, as opposed to having it serve your needs by cutting costs of the things you really want to do and see.

IMO you may need to spend some time researching and prioritizing. The ideas you've put forth are pretty wide ranging in and of themselves and in all honesty far more than is possible in a 4-day visit. I've personally never visited South Point. It very well may be nice. It's not a destination most first time visitors seek out, particularly if they're only going for such a short time as yourselves.

The strip itself is quite a large endeavor in four days. I really think it's time you sat down and made a list of the things you're really excited about seeing this visit and then try to go from there. The Trip Advisor LV forum even has suggested itineraries for different lengths of visits. I absolutely wouldn't recommend you merely follow something like that as your plan, but simply that you try to pick up on what's really feasible in the timeframe of your visit.

Truth be told I don't think many people who've visited LV more than once are likely to be lamenting they've never visited South Point. It doesn't mean many people don't go and enjoy it very much. I'm suggesting it's a destination mostly sought out by veteran visitors or those possibly from somewhere like the UK who frequently visit for 10 to 14 days. It falls more under the designation locals' casino than those on the strip or downtown would be.

Go see Absinthe, it's a show playing at Caesars Palace under the circus tent. The atmosphere is great and it was really entertaining albeit a bit raunchy... If you enjoy novelties and are a Gordan Ramsay fan eat at Hell's Kitchen. I'd recommend reservations otherwise it's a pretty long wait but my girlfriend and I were willing to eat at the bar so we walked in and were seated right away. I had to have the Beef Wellington and it was delicious! I've been to Vegas 5 times and always stay on the strip so I'd never ventured over to Fremont Street until this last visit. It is really entertaining if you enjoy live music and people watching! Have fun and don't gamble more than you are willing to lose!

Southpoint: This isn't really a sight seeing type place. It isn't like Caesars or Bellagio that you just have to go in and see just to see. There aren't any circular escalators that you have to do the tourist thing and ride just to say I rode on a curvy escalator or fountain shows you have to see, or a tower you have to go up in just once. It's more a place for locals and for tourists to go gamble when the limits on the strip are just too high for them. They have several restaurants and one of them is a nice reasonably priced buffet. They have a spa and salon too. Also a bowling alley. And a movie theater. And they do a bunch of horse shows out there too along with other shows and exhibits. So if you're in to horse shows and the like and they're having one, well there you go.

It's the kind of place I'd go to to do some eating and gambling (and maybe bowling or movies or spa if I'm not feeling the gambling bug) on the way back from an excursion somewhere.

We have done Vegas a few times! My highlights are - Beatles Love - Cirque (Seen this twice - AMAAAZZING) or the Michael Jackson One - (Also twice)
For a fun afternoon, Top Golf is fun! Its like a driving range but with music and drinks and food.

Our favourite buffet is Bacchanal buffet at Ceasars - expensive but totally worth it!!

Also love driving to the Outlet malls there as they are really good

We always stay at the Venetian as it is incredible inside - just even go for a wander around the canals!

Gambling aside, there's an Earl of Sandwich in Planet Hollywood, near the southern entrance from the Strip. Open 24 hours, cheap eats, and free wifi.

There is two great tiki bars in Vegas, Frankie’s and the Golden Tiki. Both are really neat and unique places.

As for restaurants the steakhouse in the golden nugget, Vic and Anthony’s has an amazing three course meal deal for $50. To get the deal, you must print off the distinctive dining menu found on their website. The food and service have been exceptional on every visit and I highly recommend this restaurant for a nice evening out.
