So just finding out that 1 family or possibly 2 might be joining us for our upcoming trip. I've already booked our adrs but may be looking to modify a few to include the group. We've always just traveled the 4 of us, so I'm curious which restaurants handle groups of 8 or 12 better or if they are all about the same.

Thanks!

I went to WDW in November and we were a group of 13. The only places we had meals together as a whole group that we made ADRs for were Via Napoli and Coral Reef. They were great with us at both places but the wait at Coral Reef even with an ADR was ridiculous (like 45 minutes maybe more). We walked up to plenty of other places and had no problems.

No real advice on which restaurants are better for that situation, but you might want to just start by seeing which restaurants have availability for the size group you have on the days you want. The dining reservation website is great for that. You can put in your party size and filter by day/time/park/etc.

I was able to get all the reservations we needed without any issue....Almost seemed easier to make a reservation for 9 then it normally does for 4. lol

I've never had any major issue with our travel parties which have been 7-8 for each of our last three trips. Yes there is some limited availability at the usuals but overall I have been able to secure ressies.

I am traveling with 16 in April. We have reservations at Chef Mickey, Be Our Guest, and the Tomorrowland Dessert Party all for 16. We also have LeCellier for 10. Each restaurant has different rules on big parties. I found out on the phone what the policy was for each place I was looking into.

We've traveled with a party of 13 and have eaten at Chef Mickeys, Kona, and Boma without any issues.

The best information I received from the groups department was to stop at the place about an hour before the reservation and give the hostess a heads up of our arrival. This way of a table comes ready. Or two tables'for us close together she can hold them making out wait less of a hassle
