Larger Discount at Yacht Club?

I have been checking historical discount offers for the various resorts and have noticed that the Yacht Club has a higher percent discount than the Beach Club. Is this always the case? Is it because the Yacht Club is undergoing refurbishment?

And is further away. And doesn't have a spa.

I thought no you hit the nail on the head though ... their non-updated rooms are in need of updating ... and the updating is noisy and a bit inconvenient. (But necessary)

Can you please tell me where you are researching this? This is exactly what I need to research! I was wondering "historically" which hotels have the highest AP discount in December.

And, IMO, I think the Beach Club typically has a higher price/less discount because more families choose the BC. I think families with young kids think BC is better than YC since the YC has a lot of convention people so seems more adult. I personally am happy that the YC price stays low(er) because it is one of my families favorites (and we have young kids). I think it is like a secret gem.
