Large vent about paychecks and hurricanes!!!!

I'm so @#$!$! right now. Last week at work we had a major payroll problem. Once they fixed it we got a notice from our corporate offices in Knoxville, TN that those of us with direct deposit will not be getting our checks the regular way. (Payday is today, btw). Ok cool, they said that they would issue regular checks to be FedEx'ed by today. Guess what? No checks!!! I just got off the phone with payroll. OOPS they made a mistake and they're cutting the checks today and will have them delivered by tomorrow.

That does me alot of good right now, expecially today when I need to get to the freakin store to get my hurricane supplies!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm about to drive to Zachary to ransack my mom's house for candles, flashlights and such.

Hi neighbor. Isabell is still 600 miles away. Plenty of time to get what we need before it gets here, If it comes our way. I'm praying it doesn't. I agree that we should be prepaired. I'm going to Lowes or Home depot tonight to get a propane lantern just in case.

Well hello neighbor from across the bridge! Yea you are right. Unfortunately Mr. FedEx doesnt usually show up until around 3 PM. But hopefully supplies wont be bought out (Keeping fingers crossed).

Dont forget to tank your car up!!! And good luck weathering the storm!!!

They're saying Thursday morning between 6 am and 10 am. The projected path shows it headed straight for us.

(Although a few days off from work would be nice!)
