Large Group planning on a budget

We are planning a Walt Disney World Family Gathering in June or August 2012 of about 30 people. I am searching for a budget friendly plan. There are approximately 20 adults 18-60, 5 teens 13-17 and 5 under age 5.

We are planning 7 days including Walt Disney World, Epcot, Animal Kingdom and Water Park.

I know we need to take into consideration issues with transportation if off site and having to purchase food. If on site the cost would be higher but would it save more in the long run to be able to come and go individually and being able to eat in room.

Any suggestions or recommendations would greatly be appreciated. It is difficult to plan so far ahead but an idea of the cost is needed in advance for each family to budget.

first with a group this big you are not starting to early. Are you going to be the primary planner & the one who makes the choices for the group? If it was me I would look into on-site first. I think you can be a grand gathering-which i know nothing about so you might want to start seaching at that point. I would start reading the boards here & ask lots of question this place is the best.
