Target has hot pink Microsoft cooling pads; that's where I got one for my old pink Dell laptop that used to overheat and spontaneously shut down for funsies, apparently.
If you're planning on taking it with you when you travel, you might get a good-quality laptop bag. I used to have one that was like Swiss Army brand or something like that and was great, but was a total PITA to deal with when having to go through security at the airport. So I got one instead that looks like an oversized purse, with just a zipper along the top to undo before you can lift the laptop out to put it in one of the security bins. MUCH quicker.
You might also want to get an external hard drive to use for backing up important data, photos, etc. DO NOT get a Seagate hard drive that's larger than 1 TB, no matter how tempting the dirt-cheap prices may be. I lost probably 30 GB of irreplaceable photos, not to mention my entire iTunes library (including hundreds of dollars' worth of purchased items), movies, etc. Seagate said they'd replace the drive, and I basically told them where they could feel free to shove their replacement drive.

Yeah, it failed once before, so I'm going to trust your products again? I don't THINK so.
Enjoy your new laptop!
