Lanyards

Does anyone know if the lanyards are sold at the disney resorts ?? if so, how much do they cost ?!

Yup- They are about 10-12 dollars each for an empty lanyard or 20-25 for a starter set with 4 pins (2 of each design)

Do you know what type of lanyard/pin sets do you get when you book a dream maker package?

They have a special that if you preorder Aladdin (I think it was Aladdin) you get a free lanyard with 2 pins - one to trade, one to keep. I think it was $25 or $30 for the DVD and the pin set.

They sell lanyards and pins at most of the gift shops at the resorts, as well as all the theme parks.

In the dreamaker package, we got two royal blue nylon lanyards(plain) and two pins - Chip & Dale and another one. They are exclusive dream maker pins.

Since we have three boys, and only recieved two in package, we ended up purchasing the "lanyard/pin set". We got the BuzzLightyear one. The lanyard was really nice and it came with 4 pins(2 of each design). So each boy had a lanyard and 2 pins! The pins in the sets are exclusive to the sets also. I believe the set was $25.00.

This was our first pin/lanyard experience. The boys each purchased another pin. My 9yr old got 4 pins as his "souvenier", one from each of his favorite rides - TestTrack, MissionSpace, RNR and ToT.

They wanted so badly to trade but didn't want to give up any of their pins. LOL!

If you have an AP you can get a 10% discount on the laynards at the World of Disney in DTD. You get 10% off everything, so this is where I get my pin supplies if I cannot get a discount anywhere else.

They also sell lanyards on eBay at Disney Auctions. They run about $14.95 plus shipping for a limited edition lanyard and one limited edition pin.

As for other types of lanyards, I have found some Disney character lanyards at Hot Topic in the mall and even at Walmart and KMart. Good luck! Maggie

They also have lanyards on the DIS store here on the Boards. Nice and wide for pins!

I know our Disney Store has them and I've been told to get them there since they are cheaper. I don't know much about this though since I have not looked into it myself.
