Do you get one every time you cruise or just at the start of the second cruise and then again when you start your golf level?Yes, as silver Castaway Club members, each person receives a silver lanyard with your Key To The World card at check-in.
I thought everyone in the cabin received it based on highest Castaway Club status. Now the perks get a little muddled, like for example, non-Gold can't use the shopping discount, but get the lanyard. Each person of Castaway Club Silver status will get a silver lanyard : ) Technically on our last cruise my husband got one too even though that was his first cruise, but I think that was pixie dust because we were cruising for our wedding : )
Nope. I'm one cruise under than my family, and I get the lanyard for what I am (ie. In July I'll get a gold lanyard while they're getting their platinum) It's the room level thats highest statusI thought everyone in the cabin received it based on highest Castaway Club status. DVC hands out lanyards to members regardless of Castaway Club status. This applies even if the member books direct with DCL or uses a TA.
You will need to look for the DVC Kiosk. Sometimes they are located in the terminal. If not they will be on the ship.Do we receive these at check in? We're DVC members going on our first cruise in march. I had no idea we would get them. I was going to buy some for my kids.

It doesn't matter if you book with points, "cash", TA, or DCL you will receive DVC "perks". Make sure you bring your membership card, in case DVC does not trigger (especially if you recently bought in). Stop by the DVC kiosk onboard to receive lanyards. We received a call today about our cruise Friday telling us how to get our lanyards and when the reception is.You will need to look for the DVC Kiosk. Sometimes they are located in the terminal.
