Lanyard Question

We are planning our 1st DL trip in January and I am looking at lanyards for our kids. Some have clips or connector thingys for attaching a ticket/money pouch. Have you seen the Mickey & Friends lanyards at the disneystore.com?

They come with either a DL or WDW connecting piece. What do you do with that? It doesn't have the clip, more like a flatsided key ring??

If I purchase our park tickets (staying off property - across the street) online, I've read that I need to go to a particular window to pick up/redeem our actual tickets. Are these actual tickets paper or like WDW - a hard plastic - like a credit card - ticket? Do they have a hole punched in them so you can put them on a keyring?

I am trying to do some Cmas shopping ahead of time and hope someone can shed some light. Thanks!

The ring thing on the lanyard is meant to have a plastic pouch attached to it. The sell those at the parks and are about $5. They are intended to hold the ticket and the fast passes.

The ticket will be a card stock sort of paper with magnetic strip. They will dissolve if they get super wet, but otherwise hold up pretty well.

The only way to get the hard plastic tickets is by staying onsite at one of the DLR Hotels, or in a vacation package, they will send souvenir plastic tickets.

If you put a hole in your tickets you won't be able to get a FP without the ticket being removed from the clip or D ring. Plus even though the papare is pretty tough, after a few days I think it would tear off.

The tickets are credit card sized and will fit in a pouch with other things not problem.



I had a lanyard with a zip pouch on it. It doesn't have a wide strap for collecting pins on, but will work.

I saw it in a Harbor Drive gift shop for $6. Strap and pouch. Mine came from Amazon for $5.
