lanyard color ?

I have been told that the color of the lanyard you wear has meaning. For example I was told that a person wearing a green lanyard will trade with young children. Is this true and do other colors have other meanings?

For Disney Cast Members..... if they wear a Green Lanyard, then YES they only trade with kids....
That is the only special color that has a meaning... that I know of!

Does wearing a lanyard automatically put you in the pin trading catagory or do you have the right to say no if someone asks you if you want to trade?

I would suggest going to the Official Disney Pin Trading Site. At the veery top is a white banner and click on "getting started" for tons of information. However to answer this first question, only a cast member on duty with a lanyard (or similar) is required to trade. Some people will wear "show-off" pins and not traders.
