Lansky or Super Shuttle?

Definitely, definitely Lansky, if it's that little of a difference. On two of the three of my last trips, I've had awful issues with SuperShuttle on my return trips to LAX. I chose them again only because for two of us I couldn't justify the cost, and this last time I splurged and took Lansky one way because our flight got in very late and I just wanted to get to the hotel.

I have sent emails to SuperShuttle customer service both times and had no response. Not impressed.

Lansky really reduces the stress of getting to and from the hotel.

How about Karmel? We booked through Disney and that is who they booked us with.

When we used Lansky they asked us if we had a preference on our grocery stop. We said Walmart or Target would be fine. So he took us to a Target. If your flight gets in at 10pm or after there is no grocery stop.

I've been hearing great things about Lansky so I got a quote from them for $240 from Midway-Chicago to LAX RT. I just priced out SuperShuttle and it came out to $144. The SuperShuttle I reserved was business express and would be only the four of us in the vehicle. Is Lansky that much better/Supershuttle that much poorer in quality to justify a $100 swing?

Does the Lansky driver hang out in the car with luggage while you make the 20-min grocery stop? Or does the driver park and get out?

We used Lansky on December 21 for our trip from LAX to Paradise Pier...I requested Walmart and we stopped at a Walmart neighbourhood market near the hotel (just wanted water, snacks and bananas)...I left my Mom in the car (Yukon) while I went in to shop. My Mom said the driver stayed in the car and they had a nice chat...last year when we used Lansky, the driver stood outside the vehicle waiting for me to come out with our shopping.

We used Lansky in July, and they were great. Had the three car seats we needed, rolled easily with our slight delay, just very professional. After we were dropped off, I was waiting with the kids in the seating in front of our hotel for DH to get us checked in. Super Shuttle dropped his fares off, and then I watched him light up a cigarette IN HIS VAN. Ick. No thanks.

Ok thanks for the feedback. I'll have only children with me, so I won't be leaving any adult with the car/driver/luggage while making the grocery run.
