OK, I need serious help here!
DH and I completely renovated our old farm house last year. The inside looks great and is completely finished!
The outside of the house is a different story! We have all new windows and siding but NO landscaping!
I have no idea of how to make what I want look good. We have white siding and I would like to have flower beds (low, low maintenance - I hate to weed!) made from either bricks or flagstone. My problem is that I do not know how brick will look up against a white house?? I want them elevated so that the grass does not grow into them.
Does anyone have flowerbeds like this? And if you do could you post some pics so that I could get an idea of what I want to do.
I am figuring that the final cost is going to be between $5000 - 8000, so I do not want to guess at whether it will look good or not! I want to be certain.
And I am getting really sick of the dirt and gravel that is around the house right now - so please help me!
