I plan on using my $25 birthday reward at Rainforest Cafe at the entrance to Animal Kingdom in 10 days. I just received and email with a coupon code for $10 off a $40 purchase at any Rainforest Cafe. Does anyone know if you can use rewards in conjunction with coupons?

Does the coupon list any restrictions?

I don't think that they allow both promotions to be used on the same check. You could probably use the reward on one check and the coupon on another if you have enough members in your party to rack up the required amount for the coupon. Separate checks may be the work around, but it's wise to ask about it before ordering.

I received the same coupon ($10 off $40) and it does say at the bottom cannot be combined with any other offer/promo/or savings. I agree with Alex - split the check if you think it will generate enough to use both.

I did see that at the bottom, but I thought I had read somewhere that the rewards were considered cash and not an offer/promo, so I was hoping someone here had tried to do this before and could tell me if they allowed it or not. It's just my husband and I, so splitting the check won't work. Maybe we will go for breakfast one day and dinner another or I'll save my birthday reward for somewhere else later in the month.

I don't know if this is the same, but I could not use my DVC discount along with my welcome credit and birthday reward at Yak and Yeti in June. They said I could use one or the other.

2 months ago we took some friends to Rainforest at DS for dinner... DH had his birthday reward, which we planned on using, and then the server told us how many dollars earned and they let us use both so.. 50.00 off the bill. So I would just ask, and see what they say... We have found that nothing is written in stone at WDW so it never hurts to ask...
You will easily hit the 40 dollar mark... but do tip your server on what the bill would have been before the discounts...
