Landmark reopening

I leave for New Orleans on Friday - driving. My sister is going with me for moral support.

My place is in great shape really, but it will be nice to not have to go back alone to see the city.

I will be going to Cafe du Monde - maybe everyday.

If it's your first trip back, you'll really need that moral support. Be prepared. It doesn't matter how many times you've seen it on TV, when you see it with your own eyes, it will effect you. If you love this city as much as I do, your heart will break. My thoughts and prayers will be with you.

And if you need some moral support at Cafe du Monde, give a yell.

Have a safe trip tomorrow, Tricia. Be prepared for a lot of traffic, especially on Friday. The commute from Baton Rouge to New Orleans still takes about twice the time, especially going in to N.O. in the am and leaving N.O. in the pm.
