Land Sea Package Question

Alright, I know someone out there has the answer to this one.
My son, his wife and another couple are doing a Land/Sea package in Jan. They will be traveling down from SC by car and staying at PO for the 4 day land portion. Their question to me which I could not answer is:

Will the one time check in at PO also serve as the check in for the Wonder? I am saying yes with no additional check in needed.

Will we be able to send our luggage over on DCL transportaion or will we need to take it in the car as we drive over? I am guessing that they will take their own since they purchased no transfers.

We have done the Land/Sea before but we flew in and purchsed transfers so my expertise here is limited.

What say yea experts.

We just did the land sea package in June, and stayed at POR.

Your answer is "yes", you only need to check in once, your key to

the World Card is also your key to your stateroom on the ship.

We did not purchase any transfers either, and drove ourselves to the Port. There is a charge to leave your vehicle at the Port. Sorry, I don't remember how much. But it is in a security lot, and we had no trouble at all..

Once we got to the Port, we waited in line, showed them our key to the World Card, and boarded the ship..

How about the luggage? Did you leave it outside your door for transport to DCL or did you take it in your car.
They did this same thing for their Honeymoon but flew in that time and used the transportation. That was just two years ago and here they go again with friends from church.

I believe they will have to take the luggage with them to the port since they are not using DCL transfers. Parking is $8 per day at the port.
