I mentioned to the cast member on the phone that I planned to upgrade to AP when I come in August and she something like,” Unfortunately we aren’t able to confirm if this will be possible to do during your trip.”

Anyone taking the risk on the phone based upgrade from normal tickets? Also would it only be disney direct tickets or would ticket reseller tickets work as well?

Want to buy Gold AP in the end.

I am. No risk I would assume. From reseller I don’t know.

I had already bought park tickets for a canceled-by-COVID trip and pushed the dates out to September thinking we would know more by then. Well I just booked a DVC stay for August and because my already purchased tickets were moved to September in the first trip cancellation the representative said she wasn’t able to even adjust my dates to the August stay, but if I had left them as is for the canceled May trip, I would have been able to book between then and September of next year. I feel as though they punished the proactive, in this case!

That is certainly a case that stinks. Have you tried since 2021 tickets opened? Maybe now that the system is up they can adjust the start date?

I have always been able to upgrade UT tickets in person without an issue, so if they can do that now on the phone, I would assume they can with all.

Ya my thing is we have a couples trip in January and a big family trip in May.

I might reserve myself to just needing to buy two sets of tickets since the credit can be used in future years anyways.

The may trip is more important for the parks but obviously need tickets for January as well.

Might wait it out another week or two as nothing in 2021 is filling up.

Yes, I actually called July 1st and the lady sounded frustrated herself but said they can’t adjust or sell 2020 tickets just yet. I am hoping they can by the end of this month!

I talked to ticket services today and no tickets including APs are current for sale. Still needing to.ulgrade our AP from Gold to Platinum for our Xmas trip...

I think you can make ADRs now...it opened to everyone. I know you need a park reservation to use it, but can’t you go ahead and book what you want and then when you have your ticket, coordinate?

I think you can make ADRs now...it opened to everyone. I know you need a park reservation to use it, but can’t you go ahead and book what you want and then when you have your ticket, coordinate?

I can confirm this. My son made ADR's for all of his friends even though some of them don't have tickets / park reservations. Apparently you only need the park reservation to actually use the ADR, not book one.

Fingers crossed the rumors about tickets going on sale tomorrow are true, though!!

If we purchase a park ticket, can we easily move the date? School schedules aren’t final yet because of Covid so not 100% sure which week in October 2020 we want. But don’t want to purchase if it would be very difficult to move the park tickets.
