So when tickets are finally sold for 2020. Will inventory for the park reservation come from ticket only or with the hotel? Assuming we have the DVC room booked. OR could we do either???? Hmmm

I just asked this on another thread and it seems that once we have tickets, DVC reservations are considered “ resort” for the park reservations

Correct. Since I had tickets, I was able to book during the onsite resort only time.

Unfortunately they never announced 2020 would be open today. Just later this summer. Sorry, I know it sucks.

I've heard conflicting things on this from CMs and from this forum, I am letting folks know unequivocally that they are NOT available for 2020 yet.

ok so i bought tickets for the jan trip. i just hope i can change them to season passes cause i have a june 11 month window coming up cause i don't want to have another 2 grand dumped into tickets cause then i'm way over the prices for annual passes. they linked ok. i just closed my eyes and picked park days. kinda weird vs looking at EMH's and such.

im on hold now. i wanton ask about that and the upgrade process cause i will have over 4500 dumped in tickets if i can't get park days for next june. 65 plus minutes and i called at 659 AM. explain how that is even possible. I had to have been close up front. it wasn't even 7 yet! i did chat with a cast member and took screen shots when she said i could upgrade the multiway ticket to an AP. but she couldn't tell me if i could do it over the phone which i thought was weird.

just so everyone knows and we are on the same page. . . just got off with DVC so take it all for what it's worth.

1. no annual pass sales.
2. renewals only.
3. all ticket upgrades need to be done through ticketing with a refund then a repurchase for upgrades.
4. that's all i know cause i have now been on hold for 2 plus hours with ticketing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So if I go buy my tickets through undercover tourist will I be able to upgrade them?

Does anyone know normally we get a discounted annual pass rate because of DVC so if we buy tickets and upgrade will they let us buy the AP at the discounted rate?

No idea. I was told to upgrade on phone they refund ur money u paid for tickets and u rebuy so I would assume if u bought from someone else all bets r off. U can only upgrade without doing the refund thing in person at parks they told me. Anything over phone is refund and repurchase. Ya it’s the same thing in my opinion.

Perhaps this is a new process to prevent people from buying tickets for blocked out times and then upgrading to an annual pass that wouldn’t have allowed entrance otherwise? The tickets would be used by the last day so no refund then. Just the purchase of an AP.
But if they’re still allowing the usual upgrades at the park, perhaps not.
This is pure speculation on my part.

Problem is the 11mth rolling window for us that do multiple trips and need tickets also now cause of park admittance. We need access to those ap now cause 11 mth windows are opening up daily. I don’t want to be buying ticket package after rocket package.
