Hey, did I tell you guys we caught the squirrel last night?

He's been gently released into a beautiful wooded area a couple miles away.

:scared1:

No, you didn't tell us!! I'm glad that little problems solved.

We don't have squirrels on my little island. No acorn trees. My DH wants a squirrel sooooo badly. I'm like, helloooo, have you never seen National Lampoons Christmas Vacation?!?!?

On another note, I have been procrastinating all day. Which means that it is 8:21, and I now have to:

Get the bed stuff out of the dryer and make the kids beds.
Give the kids a bath, and get them into their freshly made beds.
Clean the kitchen and the dinner mess.
Take care of my three doggies.
Enter in a bunch of invoices for the business.
Get the deposit for the business ready for the morning.
Enter in all the receipts (gas, meals, etc) for the business (which will take me hours since I have not done this since probably September).
Get myself all bathed and smelly good.

Of course, I'd love to put off the business paperwork, but I'm supposed to be taking it to the accountant in the morning so he can get our taxes done, so this is the eleventh hour, and no more procrastinating is allowed.

Another night of no sleep. Not that it matters, since I can't sleep without DH anyway.

I can spot at least four things on that list that don't have to be done tonight...

Get the bed stuff out of the dryer and make the kids beds.-Let them get their own sheets and make their own beds, after all you did the hard part by putting them in the dryer and turning it on..

Give the kids a bath, and get them into their freshly made beds. -They smell fine...the clean sheets will soak up any "odors".

Clean the kitchen and the dinner mess.-why?:confused3 isn't it just going to get messed up again tomorrow?

Take care of my three doggies.-yes, take care of the doggies

Enter in a bunch of invoices for the business.-if you must to keep the business running...ok

Get the deposit for the business ready for the morning.-ok..see above.

Enter in all the receipts (gas, meals, etc) for the business (which will take me hours since I have not done this since probably September).-Since September? so what's the big rush now?

Get myself all bathed and smelly good. You smell fine to me..splash some of that Jean Nate on yourself.

Another night of no sleep. Not that it matters, since I can't sleep without DH anyway.
sleep is not optional..I guarantee you that DH is sleeping like a log without you..this way you have the whole bed to stretch out in..

LOL, the kids are already bathed and in bed with their fresh blankies, so, that's too late.

But after I did that, I took a break and watched Idol. As if I have all the time in the world.

I think I will put off the kitchen til tomorrow. But I am gonna take out the trash, because there's something in there that is putting off a pretty funky aroma. :scared

The invoices have to be done, the deposit must be done if we want to keep the lights on, and those gas receipts have to be done too (expenses for 07 for the accountant).

As far as bathing, I was hoping for some bubbles and a good book, but I guess I'll have to settle for a quick shower in the a.m. before I start running my errands.

OR, I could just get my lazy you know what off the DIS and get my work done!! Nah, that's never an option.

okay everyone be good. I am off to bed. I am have a bad day today for some reason. I hope it is just because I have a touch of a bug and am just in a funk from that. I will catch up with you later.

Kelly I am so sorry about you grandpop in law. Please let me know if I can help you in any way:hug:
thanks:hug:
Yes, that was me that had the 2 year old smearing the contents of his Pampers on the kitchen floor. Nothing says good morning like scrubbing poo...
:lmao:

Kelly,

I'm sorry about your DH's grandpa. It's bad enough waiting around for the inevitable, but having to worry about missing work just adds on to the misery...
 damn job. he's decided to go tomorrow..I'll take care of what I can, and then take a vacation day friday.

I can spot at least four things on that list that don't have to be done tonight...
:worship: :worship:

:lmao:

WOMAN YOU ARE TOO FAST FOR YOUR OWN GOOD!!!

Now..I will take one thing back..if you promise it's the last thing on your list (besides sleeping) that you do. Take your smelly bubble bath..you need to RELAX!!!

I guess if I stop yelling at you, you may relax a little sooner. I'm sorry, it's easy for me..my quittin' bell goes off at 5:00..anything other than dinner waits til tomorrow..or the next day.

Wish I had a quittin bell.

And yes, we're all anxiously awaiting the baby news, but since it's 10:30, I'm thinking it's going to wait til tomorrow.

Ok yall, I must really be sleep deprived after the last few nights, because THAT is MY post, and as I was scrolling down the screen and I swore it said: Wish I had quit bitten.

Of course, I'm looking to see who the silly poster is and wondering what on earth they're biting...

Anyhow, Queenie, that's a weird thread, because if you look at the poll, there's almost as many "mom and son" supporters as there are school supporters, yet only, what, 2 of the mom and son supporters have posted on the thread.

Yeah, I saw that the poll was pretty close, too. There are a couple of posters pro mom,(let's face it, this is ALL about mom. If she told that kid he wasn't going to have that haircut because she didn't like it..there would be no problem..I wonder if the kid wanted to wear big sister's make up to school because he "liked it" if she would be defending that right as strongly..) but there is one from another country that has initials..I have no idea what it is..BVI??? I dunno..geography ain't my bag..anyway, he is blah, blah, blah, civil liberties..he did all kinds of disruptive things in his HS years missed 53 days, and now he is the genius graduate, post graduate, sigma cum everything...and you have to wonder how miserable he was to go to school with..both students and teachers.

I will stand up for my kid when I think it is important. a stupid haircut is NOT a place to take a stand, IMO....my apologies to all of you who have kids with mohawks.. :hippie:

Are ya drunk yet, Kaw?
nope....no alcohol in me at all
I'm sooo proud.
(and too lazy to get any)

I am trying to be patient but

I want the baby news!!!

apology accepted.

I took my kid to the barber last summer. DS wanted a buzz cut. That's fine with me, no combing the hair, no worrying about cowlicks. So we get to the barber, and the barber started playing around. The guys really good with kids, he makes balloon animals, gives the kids gum or candy, and has arcade games in the shop that he gives the kids quarters to play.

So anyhow, the barber starts playing around. He buzzes one side. He buzzes the other. He buzzes the back. Nothing was left except for the hair on top.

He tells my DS that he likes it that way, so he's done cutting, DS is going to have a mohawk.

I started laughing and tried to take a picture of it with my cell phone.

Imagine my horror when my DS started crying and yelling at the barber!! He was literally kicking and screaming.

The barber was horrified, and quickly buzzed off the rest of DS's hair.

I gave him an extra big tip that day.
