I want to add some days at WDW to my February cruise. Is it better to book resort and airline tickets through DCL, or book each piece separately? If I book through DCL, can I do it online, or do I need to call them? I’d like to know what others have done and the pros and cons, thanks!

DCL doesn't do the land and sea packages like they used to. I believe they do offer some small 2 or 3 night stays at WDW combined with a cruise. You'd have to call them and ask.

It's almost always better to book airfare yourself. You can get the flights you want, usually for a lower cost.

Personally, I'd book everything separately, as you can usually do a better deal that way.

No discount by going through DCL and the land based part would have DCL restrictive cancellation and change policies.

Only benefit to going through them is you get everything on 1 invoice.

Book separately and you could get a resort discount if one comes out for your dates

That’s a good point about the possibility of a discount. I hadn’t thought of that, thanks! We’ve done it before and booked each piece separately, so I’ll probably just do that again; I just wanted to make sure I wasn’t overlooking any benefits to doing it through DCL.

We always book separately, and always get a room discount from WDW. No advantage to booking through DCL
