Land and Sea and Transfers question?

My TA assures me that the Land and Sea package, since we bought our plane tickets and transfers with the package, is a seamless package and Disney employees will meet us as we get off the plane to direct us to transportation to Disney World for the land portion of our trip. After reading on Deb's site that Disney doesn't do their own airport-resort transportation, I'm wondering if my TA is confused? (It wouldn't be the first time she's goofed on this trip, this is our first and LAST time using this agent anyway, next time I will use Dreams Unlimited!!) Has anyone done the land and sea and know the answer to this? Just don't want to land in the Orlando airport just to find that we're stuck there!! :) TIA!!

I have the transfers as well...here's how it was explained to me. If you arrive at MCO during "regular hours" (7am-6:pm), you will be met by a DCL CM who will escort you and your luggage to the DCL bus. You will not need to worry about your luggage again...it will be delivered to your resort room.If you arrive at MCO after "regular hours", you will be responsible for your own luggage and you have to take the Mears shuttle. Does that sound about right?

OK, that's a load off my mind, thanks! :) MCO is the airport code for Orlando airport?

DW and I did the Land and Sea in 2000. Here is how it worked!

You put your bags on the plane at your home airport, with the special DCL tags on them, and then they are picked up and delivered to your room at the resort for you. You then leave them outside the room the night before you are going to the ship, meet the DCL bus at the designated location (May I suggest Downtown Disney, if they are still meeting there! You can spend sometime at Disneyquest, which is very cool, do some more shopping, or just have fun!), and then your bags are delivered to your room on the ship. You leave them outside the door again the night before disembarkation, and they are waiting at the port. You have to physically carry them through customs (it's the law), but then, depending on the airline you are booked on, you can check them at the port, or place them on the bus for the trip back to the airport. You then check them at the airline counter.

I hope this is all up to date info. Someone let me know if it is not!
