We have 10 day non expiring tickets. Has anyone ever lamenated their tickets and do they still work okay?

We treat the tickets like gold, but it would be nice to have them be a little more sturdy since it will have to last a couple of years :)

Thanks!

Deb

I had an AP made of that same material last year. I used it for a grand total of 28 days in the parks...never had an issue with it. It is not just regular paper..more like a tyvek type material. It is very strong and stand up to some pretty rough handling. If you tried to laminate it, you wouldn't be able to use it since the machine (biometric reader) wouldn't be able to read your card. Leave it be, and don't put it anywhere near anything magnetic...cell phones are the worst!!! That is about the only situation where you will need to have the card replaced..if the magnetic strip gets demagnatized. And a cell phone does a very quick and thorough job of it!!!

You can get a ticket replaced at Guest Relations if it gets worn. It is reasonable to get the ticket replaced if the printing on the back starts to get worn since you need that information if the magnetic stripe happens to get demagnetized.

Maybe you could put it in a plastic luggage tag type case? That way it could be protected and you could take it out when you need to use it.
