Lake Davenport Estates

I've stayed in Davenport- but not this specific development. I can tell you we thought it was a nice little town. A few shopping plaza's- so you don't have to go to the one's up on 192 where it's much busier. Only thing is it is a solid 15-20 minute drive to the parks. Now on the flip side-- if you stay on 192 anywhere near the Super Walmart-- it's just as long of a drive. The only thing is until the last few minutes the traffic isn't that heavy.

We're not familiar with it either BUT we've booked a vacation villa there for next month and the home looks so lovely. :sunny:

The area sounds very nice with lots of stores and restaurants. :teeth:

the other thread..we stayed on the same street as Lake Davenport and the Palms (we were in VistaPark), and walked around one afternoon.

They're all connected, so it's hard to tell when you've left one development, and into another:)

I think it's a combination short term rental/permanent resident development, though. There's a really nice pool and tennis court area right at the entrance on Florence Villa Grove Road..

If you exit out that road onto the 27, be VERY careful..traffic is zooming by the time it comes to the LD/Legacy Park intersection.

In the early mornings, we usually had time to play three Disney songs on the CDplayer :teeth: ,ie, 10 minutes, and we were at the Sherbeth Road entrance..heavier traffic would be a good 15 minutes:)

HTH!!
