I need some quick advice regarding the 3BR townhomes at Lake Berkley Hapimag.

If you've stayed here, how did you like it? I don't require absolute luxury, but I do like for the unit to be clean, comfortable, and fairly upscale.

Also, how easy is it (timewise) to get to the Lake Buena Vista area. My daughter and I will be visiting my parents between Christmas and New Year's, and she wants to do a lot of shopping at the outlet malls.

My preference is to stay in Lake Buena Vista, but I've been offered a very good deal for LBH (5 nights for less than $500).

I'd love some input. I used search, but it wasn't a lot of help. Thanks to anybody who can help! :goodvibes

Lake Berkley is just across the 192 from where we stay at Coral Cay Resort so I can only tell you about the area rather than the resort :)

For outlets the LBV outlet mall is pretty close - only about 3 miles from Coral Cay (5-6 mins I suppose). A bit longer coming back but that is due to the traffic lights. Just head out onto the 192 and turn up the 535 - it's on the right side.

We were impressed with the selection of shops now at LBV outlet (more than on our previous trip) and it's certainly worth going to. All of us, kids included, love the Tommy Hilfiger store :goodvibes

$500 is very cheap for holiday dates so looks like it may be a good deal.

Thanks for your reply! I generally either stay in the immediate Lake Buena Vista area in a condo or in a house somewhere in the area, but I prefer the condos when DH doesn't travel with us.

DD  the outlet malls, so after visiting my parents, that will be second on her list! ;) It sounds like it's reasonably close, so that's a big plus. We sometimes go down to the Bob Evans restaurant at 192/535 when we stay at LBV, and it sounds like it's pretty close to there.

I've seen Coral Cay listed before too but don't know much about it. If you happen to know of any great deals for there, please feel free to let me know (particularly for 3BRs)!

Thanks! :goodvibes

I think Coral Cay is pretty much full over Christmas with only 1 or 2 still available for New Year so I doubt you will get a similar deal. It is very nice though with private patio hot-tubs at each home :goodvibes

Sounds great for future reference. Thanks! :goodvibes

I have not stayed there, but since you don't have very many replys, I thought I would post. We drove thru there a couple of years ago, when this resort was comming up on RCI a lot as an extra Vacation. It looked very nice, clean and well kept. They were very nice town house looking bldgs. in a residential neighborhood ( a nice neighborhood too). At the time, I would not have hesitated staying there. There was a security guard at the gate. And lots of families walking, playing in the yards. Looked ok to me.

Thanks for the help! I actually wound up booking at Bonnet Creek through ebay. With the 30% Microsoft cashback and the extra 10% Paypal through today, my $725 buy it now turned into just a tad over $450 total for 5 nights (arrival Christmas Day). That was where I really wanted to stay, so I'm very satisfied! :thumbsup2
