Laissez les bon temps Rouler...Feb 2010 2/20 MK Last part of the Night updt 9/70 pg65

Yep, they think I'm pretty cool for getting it. :lmao: And they are having so much fun playing with it. Too cute!:)

Wait until they get older it really means a lot when they think you're a cool Mom.

I've been pretty happy with mouspinsonline.com and I've some pretty good luck with ebay too. It is so addicting!

I'll have to check those out. I keep hearing ebay but it's been a while since I bought something from ebay.

I would love to see pictures of this! What a cute idea!! I have been wondering what to do with all these pins now that we are at home. I may need to get busy on a project. :)

I love Leslie's idea. I'm going to copy it.

Hope you don't mind me posting a picture of my corkboard!

Post away! I love this! Looks like you have room for more.

I wanted to do a quick post to show Danielle's board. We did this Friday night. Once we got the pins on Danielle didn't like having the Silly Bandz on too. They got removed. I thought board looked empty and needed something in the middle. We played around with a few ideas then went with some pictures from past trips. These are all pictures from Danielle's stash some are pictures of her and some are pictures she took.

We showed it Dennis and he said it looked nice but. . . he suggested we put up a background paper. Oh well maybe later for now it stays the same.

Very nice! I've been working on ours too! As soon as I'm finished I'll post a pic!

Very nice!! I love it. Maybe I should put Disney pictures on mine too, keep up the theme. I tried background paper on mine and didn't like how it turned out but that's just me.

Oh this is such a good idea. I might have to do this for DS. Right now he has only a few "keepers". He has a lot of "traders" that I got him for last trip but he didn't do a whole lot of trading.

I can't wait to see it!

I like it better without paper too. I think Disney pictures would be great too.

For years her pins have sat in a drawer, now we can enjoy them everyday.

I am almost through your Epcot day!!!!! I am really kickin' butt on your TR and I am really enjoying it. When I finally get caught up I will go back and read all the banter.

You reminded me that I am putting sunshine seasons on my wish list for September. That Strawberry shortcake looks amazing.

You girls look like they are having such a wonderful time. I also enjoyed their b-day party pics. What a huge undertaking for you. I can certainly understand why you don't want to do that again for awhile. That's a lot of girls under one roof!

All caught up Vanessa! Sorry about your rogue family members that morning! You know I know all about that....:rolleyes1

Glad you were able to meet back up with the family and get a few more rides in together! Can't wait to read more! :goodvibes

The pin board looks great! What a super idea! :thumbsup2

I meant to post this in the last update. Since the pearls had sat overnight it was okay to wear them.

This is Michelle's pearl she had set in a ring.

Modeling the pearl in the Magic Kingdom.

Of course poor Danielle couldn't wear hers since I had forgotten her silver chain. And she never let me forget that I had forgotten her silver chain.

When last we left off we were headed to BTM to grab some Fps while I was slowly simmering down.

A couple of more pictures on the walk over.

Fps in hand we called Jada and told her to meet us at Pirates. I found out later they had done a few things in Tomorrowland after riding Buzz. One of the things they did was Monsters. Their pixie dust continued and Lauren got called all during the show. One of the monsters was telling a joke. "Why was 10 afraid of 7?" When they hit her with the camera she knew the answer. "Because 7 ate 9". Kinda stumped the monster that she knew the punchline.

So anyway where headed to Pirates by the walkway that runs along the mountains to the back of Adventureland. Poor Splash, that area was still a ghost town.

A little history about Pirates. I didn't know Jada had so many fears about rides until after we had ridden Pirates. As she has gotten older her fears and anxieties have gotten worse. She really doesn't like drops. When we rode it in 2004 I had totally forgotten about the drop and she freaked a little. When we got ready to ride it this time she knew about the drop but still was a little scared. Of course if Jada is scared of something Lauren is scared of it. Truth be told, Lauren was too little in 2004 to remember riding it and it is very dark at the beginning.

Lauren's fear.

Notice Danielle's grimace. So I was a good big sister and sat next to Jada. I talked her through the beginning and held her hand until after the drop and after the dark area. She made it through without a panic attack.

Enjoy Pirates.

Since we were already in Adventureland and help a fps we decided to get as much done there as possible. Our next ride was on the Jungle Cruise. We waited in the stand by line and it really didn't take too long. I really wanted to sit in the front. Your view is better and you get more interaction with the skipper up front. We ended up near the back. Oh well it was still fun.

This one was taken in the tunnel.

The Tiger.

Quick story about the tiger. Danielle was 3 the first time we took her to Disney and Jungle Cruise was the second ride she rode after Aladdin. On our next trip in 2004 she refused to ride it. After waiting line for 20 minutes right before we got on she insisted she HAD to go to the restroom. I got out of line and took her while the others rode. Finally she told me she was scared to ride because of the glowing eyes. Glowing eyes! What glowing eyes? It wasn't until our New Years 2006 trip that I finally understood. This was the tiger that scared her. I had totally forgotten about him. To me this is such a fun ride I couldn't think of anything that would scare her.

More to come.

Moving on.

The girls wanted to ride Aladdin so Dennis took them on this.

Danielle wasn't trilled that Lauren wouldn't let her take them up high.

Next up was the Tiki Room. I know a lot of people don't like it but we do. We've never seen the original so we like this one just fine.

By now we were hungry so lunch was where we were headed. Now if it had just been Danielle and I we would have hoofed it to Columbia Harbor House, but it wasn't just us. Dennis and Michelle loves their burgers and they love Pecos Bills, so since it was close and their favorite we went to Pecos Bills. I'm sorry I don't have any food porn. I do remember having trouble using our cards to order at the automatic kiosk. My card ended up being the only card that would work. We ended up having trouble a couple of time with the cards when using the dining plan for food, but mine usually worked.

After lunch we split up for a while. We had fps for BTMR and there was no way Jada and Lauren were going to ride that. We used our fps and believe it or not we didn't take any pictures. That's unusual for us. From there we caught the train to Toon Town. We wanted to see Mickey and Minnie's Houses and possibly ride Barnstormer. Well that didn't happen. I was supper crowded when we got back there so we walked on through trying to avoid the many strollers and headed form Buzz to grab some more FPs. We meet back up with Jada and Lauren in Tomorrowland. I don't know what they did but I do know they found Princess Tianna. I would have loved to have met her but Danielle wouldn't do any character meets, not even Tianna.

We decided to head to the Tea Cups to try for a ride, but the line was too long so back to Tomorrowland for a ride that never has too long of a line and is usually moving, the TTA. Well it did have a line but not too long. As soon as we jumped in it stopped totally. Something happened and the ride shut down. Now I was really looking forward to this ride since it was closed in June. After a few minutes it started up again.

We love the view from the TTA.

More in next post.

These were taken in the dark part of the ride.

Back outside.

Inside the Buzz part.

Continued in next post.

It was now time to head to the front of the park to get the girls dresses. It was almost time for their appointment at the BBB.
