Lagoon View GF

We are booked into a lagoon view at GF.
What are the options on buildings?
Pros and cons of each location?
Is there a clear favorite location?
Where can I see a map?

We really liked Boca Chica, you have a good chance of getting a view of MK from their Lagoon view rooms.

We like Big Pine Key. Nice central location, near both pools. Also close to the main building and the boat dock.

All buildings are pretty convenient, though, at the GF. We have stayed in all of them and found the locations pretty good overall. My least favorite would be Sago Key.

We were in Boca Chica and had booked lagoon view but we could see the castle, space mountain, and all the fireworks from our room on the 4th floor.

BUT...I kinda hated our room location. We were right by the boat dock so we heard those annoying boat horns from about 6am-1am or later every day. It was the furthest building from the main building and there was no way to take a shortcut since the pool was right there...has to work all the way around.

I had requested Big Pine Key but didn't get it...I wish I had. Would have been quieter and we were only in the room one night during fireworks so being able to see them wasn't a huge deal.

We have had both Boca Chica and Big Pine Key. I love BPK for its proximity to both pools ands the Main Bldg. The view from Boca Chica is pretty amazing- we saw the castle, contemporary, and space mountain. I don't mind the boat horns- I only hear them and they make me feel warm. Either way- you will be content- the GF is really wonderful.

I think the horns would drive me crazy. Where then is the most quiet choice?

We like Conch Key because it's also close to the pier so you can take the boat back and forth to MK. It's a little farther to the main building and the monorail but we find that we use the boat more often.
