Anyone know if they still do the ladybug release? I think it might have been at the GF? I never paid that much attention to it in the past but now I have a 2 year old granddaughter and I think she would love this. Anyone done it recently? Does it still take place?

There is a ladybug release during the "Behind the Seeds" tour at The Land in Epcot. It's a walking tour of the green houses, etc you see on the boat ride.

I'm not sure if a 2 year old would get much out of the tour though, but I know they would allow her to release the ladybugs ( with adult supervision).
Basically you get a vial of ladybugs and you sprinkle them onto the leaves of some of the plants in the greenhouse

If it's something you think she would really enjoy, you can do it at home! Your local nursery should sell ladybugs for $5 or $10 (I am 90% sure it's $5.00!) and you bring them home, water all your plants and release them. It's like, 100 ladybugs or something like that. Might be something to check out. :-D

Crazy4dl, lucky you. The ladybug price at our local nursery this past spring was $10 for like 100. Insane if you ask me. But, they are nature's helper when it comes to gardening. :D
