I don't watch music videos like I did times past. I came across one in particular while reading entertainment news. Have you seen Lady Ga-Ga's video with Beyonce, "Telephone"? I was surprised Beyonce was a part of it! Awful! I will say the song is catchy.

The lyrics didn't match the choreography if you can call it that. The most disturbing scenes are of Lady Ga-Ga as a cook at a diner. She puts poison in everyone's food. Serves it and watches everyone die. Mass murder in a diner. Panning to the dead customer's faces while Lady Ga-Ga and Beyonce (and other dancers) are dancing around the place. It was disturbing. I think I'd be disturbed by it even if I were the target audience.

I think Lady Ga-Ga is a Madonna 2.0, extreme version.

I cant' stand her anyway- Beyonce either actually. LG's got a pretty good voice, but I cant' stand the "schtick".

My impression of Lady Gaga changed after watching her on Oprah. I think her persona is eccentric and extravagant. On Oprah she came across as sweet and shy.

This video didn't phase me at all and actually seems quite tame compared to many others. I agree that the song is very catchy in typical Gaga style.

same here: I saw her on the Today Show with Cindy Lauper and she is different than her persona/s. I liked her better after I saw that. I think she is just really serious about being sort of a performance artist, .....ie., her costumes, personas, etc.

I think her music is catchy, but don't care about the stuff that I don't want my DD12 to hear/understand. Don't care how outlandish she is, just wish she wouldn't push the envelope in that one area, I guess. JMHO, of course.

Yes. She does make Madonna look very mild. And that is saying a lot. I actually think L.G.G. has talent. She has a good voice. I don't like her antics and the video at all. Ugh.

Thanks, Robinrs for the background story. I did see the video, "Paparazzi". I like both songs. I can see the relationship between the two videos. Still think the murder scene is out there.

i know i'm starting to get old when i can't handle things like watching a 10 minute music video i don't have the patience anymore. but i wanted to watch it because it was so hyped up.


the only issue i have with that particular video is that her and Beyonce seemed very "blah" thru the whole thing, no emotions....almost like they were even bored lol

really??? I think madonna was/is a lot worse...and at least Lady Gaga has talent as well. Madonna is just desperate, but part of lady gaga's stuff is performance art...so mabe a lot of people just don't "get it"
