So my mom just called to ask me this question...my sister was at her house and apparently they were discussing it.

Do you snap your bra in the front and turn it to put it on or do you put it on and snap it in the back?

My mom and I are front snappers but my sister does hers in the back. It made me laugh that I even got a call about it but it made me want to know what others thought. :rotfl:

I do it in the front and spin it around. I don't have the skill to do it in the back! I also vary the hook closure, sometimes I do the first one and sometimes the last one with no rhyme or reason as to why :confused3.

The back. I always thought the front way was for training bras.

I think front snaps are, but the OP is talking about snapping a back snap bra in front and then spinning it around so it is where it is supposed to be. (gosh, that sounds a lot more confusing then it really is)

You forgot "other!" :lmao:

I also am not talented enough to fasten it in the back, and I find it too hard to turn it around, so I fasten it, then put it on over my head, like a T-shirt. A really tight t-shirt. :rotfl:

I snap it in the front and then spend it around to the back! I unhook from the back though( not that anyone asked me):rotfl2:

This is what I do too. I know it's not good for your bra doing it this way (gets stretched out way too early) BUT "the girls" are way too big for me to snap in front and spin it around. I can hold them up with one hand and spin with the other. LOL

This thrad makes me crack up. Just about a month ago my grandma took my great grandma shopping and she said she needed front opening bras. My grandma, who has learned not to argue, just took her and started looking for them. After a couple stores and no luck finding them in her size, my grandma asked granny why she needed them to open/close in the front? She teased did she have a new boyfriend? :lmao: Granny said she was having a hard time reaching in the back to buckle them. Her flexability isn't what it used to be. My grandma said, why don't you buckle it and then turn it around. :confused3 y granny said, you know, I never thought of that???? :lmao: She is 98 years old, likely wearing a bra for 88 years and that never occoured to her. She decided she no longer needed bras, hers would be just fine. :lmao:

Now, to answer, normally I do them in the back. I have however done them in the front, so I do know how to and what yo uare talking about.

:lmao: Never even thought of an other!

This thread is so funny to me. I do it in the back and I never even thought there was another way, never mind that the majority of people do it that other way!! The things you learn on the DIS :rotfl:

Front and then spin. Its just easier to get the girls in the right place that way.

Front & Spin...we sound like washing machines :rotfl2: we used to ask this question every so often at work now the next poll for you to open Leave socks on or take them off in THAT exam ;) we had hysterical answers to that one too !

I used to be a back snapper but as I've gotten older just can't do it anymore. So now I snap in front and spin it around. I don't like doing it this way though.

It's so funny you asked this, as I was considering asking the same thing. I went to get Nordstrom to get measured and I started wondering the same thing.

I am a snap in front and then spin around.

I don't wear them that all often (hot down here) but when I do it's front closures in the front and back closures in the back.

I usually do it on the back. It takes a while, and sometimes I get frustrated and just leave one hook undone and pull my shirt on.

Now, my strapless bra (that has 3 hooks :headache: ) I hook in the front. I struggle enough with 2 hooks behind the back...3 hooks is a feat I don't want to attempt.

Ditto hook in the front then spin it around. But, unhook in the back.

I've never thought front hooks were for training bras. I have some bras that are front hook and some that are back hook and these babies are WAYYYY to big to be in any kind of training bra! LOL!!!

Back. Though some dresses that zip I zip in the front and then spin. But my bras? Always in the back (unless of course it was a front clasp, but I haven't owned those in years.)
