I like the Cybele.

And definitely practice! The wraps aren't that hard when you get used to them, but the first couple of times, Russ stared at me like I was nuts, trying to get him into it. I still can't tie a Maya/Moby wrap on my back with him without help. Since your daughter won't be an infant when you adopt, you might want to look at Mei Teis as well - I've found that so much easier with an older child. I can tie Russ on, front or back, without any help.

Thanks!!! I am getting a Mei Tai as well (Eden Velveteen) and will just have to wait and see which ones work for us... hopefully both of them

I like the Aphrodite better. I have to say, though, I always wondered how people got those contraptions to work, LOL. (ie, getting the baby in it and on you without everything getting all bunched up)

It takes a little practice, but they are very comfortable.

OP, I like aprhodite best. But, you know, I had about 6 of them, and I made them myself. They are very, very easy to make and then you can choose any fabric you want. My favorite by far was the mesh one which I could take in the pool with me. It made it easier to wade around with the baby. It was also great on really really hot days.

I prefer the Aphrodite. The red/maroon in it is not as bright and more natural looking than the other.

Cybele for me as well. I think the other is kind of drab looking (the main color) and I like Cybele for the range of colors it has. I think it would go with more in general.
