Ladies~What's your take on BEARDS???

DH has one. I like them and think they look good, and I definately think DH looks better with one. He was clean shaven when I met him, and I never thought he would grow one, but about 4 years ago, he grew it out as a hoot for christmas, and I fell in love with it.

I know most women prefer the clean shaven look, but I think beards can look masculine on some men.

Whaddya think??

I don't really like beards, I think they hide the face too much.For me, if my boyfriend doesn't shave his face, i don't shave my legs...it's that simple!!!!
I don't like him bearded, moustached...anything!

My bf has a goatee and I love it, I can't stand it when he is clean shaven. I think it just depends on the face

My DH has one too and I love it on him. Of course, he had it when I met him so I may be biased. He shaved it off a couple of years ago when we were in WDW and he looked so different I felt like I was cheating on him whenever he'd kiss me!

Another vote for beards. DH likes to change things around, sometimes a full bears, sometimes a goatee, sometimes just a mustache. No one even recognizes him when he is completely clean shaven. He only does that when he's ready to grow the whole thing out again and wants it even. Like a haircut, it all depends on the face.

It totally depends on the guy. DH has a round baby face and wouldn't look good with one at all. One the other hand one of my DBs has a long narrow face and he looks good with one. I personally find them scratchy and really don't care for them. To each his own though as long as it's neat and clean.

DH can only support a mustache. He has a very small chin, so a beard would not look good on him. I do like beards though. DS has a beautiful FULL very RED beard!

Here's an opposite story than most. I think I look better clean shaven, but occassionally grow beards in the Winter just for something different.

Last year I kept it through Easter and grew my hair out some for a church production. I went back to "me" afterwards.

DW liked it so much she asked me to grow it back as soon as it was cool, so right now I have a full beard and hair below my collar, which is quite uncommon for me.

She thinks it's sexy so I don't even worry about anyone else's opinion including my own!

I think it depends on the face. DH doesn't shave on weekends unless he needs to go in, so I get used to the stubble. (Mainly because he puts up with my leg stubble!) I think he'd look good with a goatee...

I don't have a problem with any man with a beard.... as long as he's not a gynocologist. I mean, heck... they're looking at it all day and then try to emulate it on their face.

That is my only beard quirk.
