Ladies, what's in your wallet?

My doctor, being a gentleman, picked up my bag yesterday and went "oooof!". Heck, it's missing half of the stuff I normally carry!

I've got
Imitrex injectible kit (never leave home without it)
Aleve (again, never leave home without it)
Flonase
Advair
about a half dozen gel pens and a dozen crayons
a sharpie pen
two pens
my wallet
my nametags for work
the ipod and accoutrements
keys
cell phone
lip balm, eyeliner and eyeshadow

Normally in the bag, but out right now, my small planner, my digital camera and a book (right now "Fire Me Up" by Katie McAlister).

My first husband always griped about the huge pocketbooks I had. It gave me a complex. Then when DH and I started dating, I needed a new handbag and he went with me to pick one out. I looked at this nice small bag and he said I should get real. I had the various meds, my planner and wallet and I should get a bag that actually fits them. He always talks me out of a smaller bag!

Its laughable when we go to the parks. I squeeze the camera, Imitrex, Aleve and some cards into a fanny pack if I try to skip the big bag.

We did this game a church youth group around what was in your purse. That is when I realized I had a roll of tape and a package of grits in there along with all the normal stuff.

The package of grits cracks me up!

Wow! I must have cleaned recently. It's usually MUCH worse than this!

Who else thinks it's hilarious that my mom keeps my sister's permit in her purse? She is TERRIFIED of her driving!

This post is really funny and timely, because just a few days ago, we had to take my sister to the dentist, and I suggested a game of "What's in your purse" because we were bored waiting for her. We got to laughing and probably really annoyed the other people waiting. They should be used to it by now...we usually get out the "book of gross teeth" to peruse through, and that gets us going as well.
Okay, on to the purse...

mini credit card with my maiden name on it
8 business cards
a post it note with my sisters-in-law's phone numbers
volunteer blood donor card
receipt for the piano my husband bought
cell phone (usually- not there now)
mini frys discount card
mini credit card and debit card
9 giftcards, mostly from Target, left over from wedding gifts
a little booklet with pictures of my husband
an index card listing all the amounts left on said gift cards
a useless post it note
some useless receipts
one of those circular metal things that come off key chains if they don't close all the way

Now onto the big pocket:
baggie with excedrin tablets (for when DH gets a headache)
blockbuster, movie gallery, and hollywood video cards
my marriage certificate
two newspaper wedding announcements
our scorecard from "what's in your purse" (!!!!!) how ironic! I won, by the way.

and $1.18 in change!!

You must have a lot of spare time If i had THAT much stuff i would of just said 'A lot!'
