LADIES: what is your typical WDW outfit, hair, and makeup look?

I see no one mentioned sunglasses. As some of you mentioned not wearing makeup and worrying about how it looked in photos, sunglasses are a great way to hide your non-makeupped eyes lol! Because of course it will be bright sunshine, no rain for all of our trips!

Good point on the sunglasses. Then I guess I should add that I'm usually wearing a Poncho since we go in August lol :rotfl: Nothing like wearing a poncho with that heat and humidity. Sometimes I think I'd rather get soaked by those afternoon rainstorms. :faint:

I wear makeup in my real life, so I definitely need it in my Disney life. Really, that's the only place I get my picture taken, so I've got to look good. :cutie: Waterproof mascara and an eyelash curler are a must for me.

My hair can't be helped though. I wear my hair in a pony at Disney. My hair frizzes out in humidity.

Sometimes I wear short skirts and running shoes. It's kind of a weird look, so when I'm photographed I say, pictures from my calves and up only please. :)

We are going in February and I am planning on wearing yoga pants and a Disney t-shirt topped with a hoodie for the cooler mornings with athletic sneakers.

When we went in August I wore brightly colored tank tops from Old Navy with bright gym shorts and athletic sneakers.

I always do a side pony and for makeup I use Cover Girl foundation, powder, blush and lip gloss. I also wear my Mickey earrings :goodvibes

Like some other posters, I wear capris most days (jeans at night if it gets cold), short-sleeve or tank Disney themed tshirt, a lightweight jacket that can be tied at my waist if it gets too hot, sunglasses, and comfy sneakers. One day of my trip I "dress up" with a sundress and capri stretch leggings. Typically that is the day we do our favorite TS meal. I used to worry about my shoes but I'd say 90% of all my Disney photos, you never see my feet anyway, so I might as well go for comfort LOL.

Hair - I have long hair that frizzes easily. First few days at Disney I usually take the time to straighten it and style it, bringing elastic hair bands to put it in a bun or ponytail later. By day 4 or 5 of a weeklong trip, I tend to skip the styling and straightening and just do a side braid (I put it in a low ponytail to the side and then braid it).

Makeup - tinted moisturizer with built-in sunscreen (I like Almay age-defy tinted moisturizer). Waterproof eyeliner and mascara, and a tinted chapstick.

Ponytail, dress and comfy flats or sandals! Dresses are so simple to throw on and on hot days a breeze can pass through them pretty nicely! This works well when it's cooler out too because I add leggings and a cardigan to the dress and can take that stuff off through the day! Except at AK, I always do shorts and a tee there for some reason!

wicking bike shorts, wicking sports bra, sundress, crocs or Teva flip flops or sandals that I switch back and forth daily

pedicure, spray tan, sunglasses, anti-frizz serum, high ponytail, high SPF face powder (reapplied fairly frequently), water-proof eyeliner and mascara, high SPF tinted lip balm

I usually end up showering twice a day with the heat and humidity

Have fun!!

I too wear makeup at home. I like my makeup to look natural. I wear jeans, shorts, tee shirts while on vacation. I also bring tennis shoes and flip flops.

Capris, Tevas, Lightweight Peasant top or Tank Top. No makeup except for sunscreen and a lightweight foundation. My hair is naturally curly and will frizz if I dry it so I just let it air dry and either pin it or toss it up in a clip.

Usually cotton sundress and a cute pair of sandals - flats of course or maybe skimmers. Boy short underpants so no possible flashing. Or sometimes I wear a cute cotton skirt and a Tshirt or tank top. I like cotton but I know a lot of people like the moisture wicking fabrics. I do have some of those as well but not nearly as many. I travel with leggings and cardigans if we go in cooler times. We rarely go during the colder months. I really like the sundress thing as they all have pockets (if not bought that way, I'll sew them in) and a take a small wristlet. My dh can easily fit it in his pocket or I can put it in mine. I travel light in the parks and for travel purposes which is another great part of sundresses, even if you pack 2 a day and a different swimsuit for everyday they fold up very compactly to leave more rooms for shoes. I find wearing different shoes a huge factor in keeping my feet happy:) so, this means my clothes dry fast, I sweat very little, have minimal luggage, never chafe (my legs rub when I wear shorts, but not when I wear a dress/skirt which is another factor) or have blisters and I look nice enough. I now wear a wide brim hat to keep the sun off my face and shoulders and sunglasses.

I wear sunscreen, moisturizer with sunscreen and face makeup with sunscreen because I've had a couple of pre cancerous skin issues and it runs in the family. A tiny bit of makeup (probably takes about 2-3 minutes for a bit of blush. A swipe of mascara and tinted Chapstick). I start the day with my hair down for a pic or 2 going into the parks and then as soon as it gets hot, I'll braid it, put in a low bun or whatever while waiting in a line. I love the look of a high pony tail but as I get older the big hat is more important:)

I wish my hair got frizzy or any kind of curly. Mine just gets limper and limper and more and more stringy...lol.

Basically, I try to look put together but I'm not willing to do that at the expense of comfort, so this works for me. I wish I was one of those women who had the perfect hair down and did the whole makeup thing and touched it up all day. I get too excited to get in the parks to spend too much time (I even iron our clothes in the evening so it's even faster to get ready in the morning) and the only mainentance I do while in the parks is more Chapstick.

Pretty much all girlfriends dress similarly especially with golf skirts/skorts.

I wear my make up to the parks, maybe not my full on date night make up, but I do like to look decent. I will usual put my hair in a ponytail but I will curl it first and maybe put on a headband. For my outfit I wear a tank top and shorts with a pair of flip flops. I used to carry a drawstring bag but next time I go my kids will be older so I don't need to carry a bunch of stuff so I will be using my coach crossbody, of course I never leave the house without my sunglasses.

I wear:
- jean or light, quick-drying shorts (mid thigh length; I like the Tommy Bahama ones, but have also found decent shorts at Old Navy);
- a tank top (Tommy Bahama bc they're pretty and hold their shape (don't gradually stretch out), or Sweet Pea by Staci Frati (they're pretty mesh fabric and dry incredibly quickly). Basically the same as what I wear at home (I don't wear or own cotton t-shirts or graphic tees, just not my style);
- wedge sandals or Havaianas flip flops (any shoes with a heel that comes up over my Achilles will cause bleeding blisters within minutes);
- light makeup. I never wear foundation or mascara, so just some Benetint on my cheeks (lasts all day), Urban Decay eye primer (seriously the only thing that makes my eyeshadow and liner not crease), shadow in a light or nude color, eyeliner (top lid only), and maybe a little brow liner.

My hair is cut in an angled bob (like Victoria Beckham), so it's short enough that I can't put it up. If it were longer, I'd probably do half up half down or a ponytail.

Summer or any warm/hot day: T shirt, shorts, sneakers, hair up, no make up, strong sunscreen!

Winter or any cool day/night: t shirt, jeans, sneakers, sweatshirt, hair usually up, no make up, strong sunscreen
And sunglasses are a must, anytime!

When we went in May my hair was up every day because of the heat/humidity. Its a frizzy curly mess in Florida. Tanks and shorts, with Toms because they are the most comfy for me. I do wear makeup tho, I feel naked without it...even if its just mascara! ;)

I wear shorts (not athletic shorts) with a lightweight, cute tank top. Hair goes in a pony tail or braid. I always get compliments when I braid my hair and it's nothing fancy. Just a single boring braid in the back or one behind either ear. I can't french braid, so it's REALLY simple. And I've always loved my hair braided. I could do it on the monorail if I didn't have time before we left.

And sunglasses. And tennis shoes.

I have a hard time finding shorts that I like due to my height. Instead, I usually opt for skorts. They are more forgiving when the are long than shorts. Anyway, I usually wear those with a more fitted shirt and flip flops. This coming trip, I will be taking a pair of teva flip flops and some Go Walks. If I don't wear the skorts, I will wear denim capris. I also will wear a cotton sundress with flats.

For my makeup, I usually go minimal with light foundation and powder, a bit of blush, tinted chap stick, and mascara. I will usually take a compact with me and touch up if I'm looking a bit shiny.

With my hair, a lot of times I give it a bit of curl with the curling iron. My hair has a lot of natural wave to it so if I curl it up, it will usually hold a pretty decent curl in the humidity. Now, if it is a hotter month, I'm not dealing with hair on the back of my neck. In those instances, I'll wear it in a ponytail, bun, or do a french braid or fishtail either straight back or to the side.

I don't know why people always say you can't look cute an be confortable. It depends on the weather what I wear to the parks. We never gone on summer so usually the weather is not super hot. When it is still hot I wear sundresses and flats there are tons of flats there for long walking that are still cute. In the colder months I wear layers. Jeans and usually a bottom down shirt and a disney sweatshirt. Some of my favorite sweatshirts are Patterson J Kincaid Disney collection. Something like this http://www.pinterest.com/pin/158681586844393257/. I still do my hair (braids work great and there are many styles) and make up.

I am going to add the only place I wear yoga/ sweat pants are to the gym around the house.

I probably shouldn't even participate in this thread, because as you can see from my profile information <----- per another Disboarder, I apparently look destitute when I'm at Disney! LOL.

I just wear light weight khaki shorts and usually a solid-colored tee. I don't like how I look with my hair up, so I leave it down. I always wear sunglasses because my eyes are sensitive to the sun.

For makeup, on a trip a couple of years ago I discovered Urban Decay's Deslick spray. It is so awesome! I use that over my makeup, which is similar (but lighter) to what I do at home--Miracle Skin Transformer as foundation, powder, eye liner, and just a bit of UD's Sin on my lids. The Deslick spray really helps in keeping what little I wear in place/not wiping off, even in the heat.

Comfort is key for me. I felt good in Capri length yoga pants, sports bra and tank with NBs. Sunglasses are a must. Also sunscreen and lip gloss. A nice thing to have are baby wipes to clean up a bit if someone gets too sweaty or sticky. Drink lots of water and eat light on hot and busy days. If you feel good you will look good!

Lululemon black wunderunder crops with some sort of tank top and either my black lululemon hoodie or my cheshire cat hoodie and also my favorite reef flip flops! Very comfy, easy to move in and cute too! Hair always goes into a high ponytail so it's out of my face, and I wear sunscreen, a little cream blush, lip balm and a bit of mascara (but really that's all I ever wear for makeup, so nothing new there! lol). Easy peasy! ;)

One of my favorite aspects of our December 2014 trip was the cold weather- I wore lulu wunderunder crops or pants daily with Uggs. Paired with a cute lulu jacket or NF fleece. I never felt more thin or cute at Disney. And it was so easy.

It depends on what park we are going to, the time of day, the weather, and if we are taking pictures or not. I'm very critical of my photopass shots, I pay a lot of money for them, I want them to look good.

I also always spray tan before we leave, and re-apply at least once while we are there, because I don't want Snow White's legs walking around in my shorts.

THIS. I even got a spray tan for our December trip. It just makes me feel better and my face looks better in pictures. Plus I can get away with minimal makeup when my face is tan.
