Ladies...What do YOU wear to the parks?

I usually wear a tank top and denim shorts, for the pockets. We go bagless as much as possible, so pockets are a must! Also broken in sneakers. My feet would fall off if I wore anything else.
After a few trips of seeing some outfits that just made me stare in horror, I no longer really care about how I look in the parks. My mantra is now "If you can't see my panties through my clothes, and they're not 4 sizes too small, I'm good" Totally based on a real experience. :sad2:

I'm 5'7" and 140lbs. So... a medium person?

I don't like sticking to seats either, which is why I make sure my skirts tuck under my rear when I sit down. For me, exercise shorts were just a sweaty, uncomfortable nuisance and once I realized they weren't required to protect my modesty, I was happy to give them up for good.
Wow, you are ideal! (I mean that sincerely and nicely! Honest) In that case, the leg/shorts thing probably doesn't apply to you...

Typically:

Mesh soccer type shorts, graphic tee (love www.80stees.com), and either low cut socks/tennis shoes, or some Crocs sandals.

Cooler weather? I put a hoodie on over the above, maybe wear denim capris.

Shorts and tops here. Mainly athletic clothing with a couple cuter outfits if I change for dinner. It's still hot then and I want to be comfy.

Thank you earlier posters who mentioned the pictures aspect in considering what to wear. On all the past trips, I've been the picture taker but we splurged on Memory Maker this year, so when I pack I need to remember I'll actually be IN the pictures! Yikes!

Be comfortable!

I go for t-shirts paired with either knee length shorts (less skin to require suncream!) or a knee length skirt with cycle shorts underneath to stop any rubbing.

If we are having an evening ADR after an afternoon break, I may change into a nicer dress for that, but I only take stuff I'm comfy in :)

Depends on the weather.

Shorts or capris and t-shirts or tank tops.
Skirts (with jockey skimmies to stop rubbing) and either a tank top or a t-shirt.
Or jeans and t-shirts.
I'm pretty casual. I like dressing for comfort. And I always bring a sweater or a hoodie unless it's super hot.

We go in summer and I tend to do either shorts or skorts with a tee for the parks and I throw in a sundress or two for our nicer dinners.

I wear moisture wicking tank tops with shorts. I have skirts for evening and some skorts from Eddie Bauer and athleta.

I go for comfort, so T-shirts and comfortable pants/shorts with Reef Dreams flip-flops. No way would I be comfortable wearing any kind of dress/skirt on the rides! I don't care what I look like in the pictures because the pictures aren't very good anyway (I am a photographer, so am very picky about photo quality - and some of those Disney camera users don't even know how to focus the camera on the people instead of the background), not to mention I have backpack and water bottle holder straps across my body.

personally i do a little bit of everything but i always make sure that whatever i bring is COMFOTABLE for long days in the parks.

i've worn twill shorts, denim shorts, twill capris, denim capris, jeans, sweatpants, knit capris (same material as yoga pants but not as tight), t-shirts, tank tops, sweaters, sweatshirts, hoodies, and sundresses.

i wear thin, stretchy, slip shorts under the sundresses to ensure no chafing.

i wear socks and sneakers for the most part and very comfortable sandals with a back strap if i wear sundresses.

i will admit i'm the most comfortable in the sweatpants, knit capris, t-shirts, and zip up hoodies but i don't always want to wear such casual clothes.

in october it will still be quite hot out so you shouldn't need more than a light cardigan and light sip up hoodie mostly for air conditioned buildings.

i suggest wearing anything that is COMFORTABLE to you.

Dresses are WAY less restricting then shorts?! They are so breezy, light, stretchy, none of which shorts are... (at least, not the kind that I can be seen in, in public!) But hey, each person has a vibe, and that's cool.

I don't know about the person who mentioned it, but for me, shorts are definitely less restrictive than dresses. I don't own or wear short shorts (those 1-2" inseam skin-tight things that are everywhere), but comfortable, loose, modest, pants-like shorts that are a lot closer to the knee than the crotch.

i'm with you.
i wear shorts with a 5 inch inseam.
they look appropriate and are much more comfortable than the daisy dukes i see so many wearing to the parks.

i do find dresses comfy too though.

Layers! I like to wear north face or Patagonia pants that can convert to capris and/or shorts. It gets chilly in the early morning and late night.

Whatever is comfortable and fast drying. Usually a sundress, or athletic shorts and a t shirt. I have never had chub rub with dresses or skirts but is there such a thing when you are wearing jean shorts? My legs always got a rash when I wore those things and if they were wet from a ride, the worst.

Generally I always go with running/athletic wear and sundresses. This trip though, I have a DisneyBound outfit for each day! Still planned to be comfortable, but definitely a change for me!

I'm trying to decide on whether to go super casual and do yoga pants/Nike running shorts with tees all week or should I pack a few sundresses with some light sweaters if it gets chilly...we are going in October.

Opinions?!?!
Definitely wear what's comfortable; the light sweater is also a good idea for the reasons mentioned above. I also agree with the LL Bean recommendation. We're going next month and I bought some of LL Bean's capris and swim shorts for casual, comfortable, and quick-drying clothes. I also may pack a couple of their fitness dresses for some of our dinners out -- if they still have the black, it dresses up easily and is extremely comfortable. I live in these dresses. :) Enjoy your vacation!

We went this past December and I wore workout clothes. I have to wear tennis shoes because I have bad feet. Our weather was pretty chilly most days so I'd wear workout capris or pants, tennis shoes and layers. I'd wear a tank top and then some type of sporty zip up top. I like to be comfortable with at the parks and run around with my kids. If I didn't have to wear tennis shoes I would maybe wear more shorts that look better with flip flops. I see people in heals and the dumbest outfits and I am thinking to myself youre at an amusement park not a club. Those people are so weird to me!
