THEY DO STILL MAKE IT!!

My 91 year old grandmother buys the Tabu powder like that....LOL! Still to this day! I think shes the only one who still buys it!

I remember as a teenager my boyfriend (Now DH) would always buy me the Liz gift pack and there was always one in there!

I also remember my mom having some and my son spending the night with her and spilling the whole entire thing on her kitchen floor.

I remember that powder, too. When I was little, I used to take the puff full of powder and smack it all over me in a huge cloud of talc! Made me cough, maybe they stopped making it because it hurt your lungs...

I remember that forbidden blud bottle of "Evening in Paris" in my mom's drawer, 40 years ago. I bet if I smelled it today, I could identify it immediately!

Tabu! OMG, does that bring back memories. My grandma (not the powder one, the other one) used to drown herself in that and Emeraude. Oy.

Another LOVES BABY SOFT here! I doused myself in that stuff way back when. Christmas shopping in Sears this year I saw a bottle of it, along with the puff, lotion and perfume and I was soooo close to buying it for my daughter. I LOVED it!!

I remember those!!! I'd get them every Christmas until I finally told people to stop giving them to me. I think Avon still has them with their fragrances.

I remember them but I think one reason people stopped using them and so they stopped making a lot of them was the talc. If I remember correctly talc was found to cause cancer in some people. I know a lot of the powders now say talc-free.

They came in sets a lot of times, didn't they? Like you'd have the bottle of perfume, and the powder in a set. I think that's how it came.

I haven't thought about Love's Baby Soft, Heaven Sent and Emeraude in years! I used to love the perfume called Rain by Love's Baby Soft. I always hated the smell of Charlie though. It gave me a headache the instant I smelled it.

I have a container of White Shoulders, and I'm only 30!! I just love using it after a bath....

But perfumed powder is rather old-fashioned (as is my scent) and it's hard to find....pretty much only at the dept. store cosmetics counter.

I hate Tabu. It stinks! I always thought Tabu was a good name for it, as in: it's "taboo" to use it!

I'm only 24 and I remember it. I think they had it in charlie, and jean nate and others.

I have the urban decay cocoa powder stuff, it makes you smell like cake mix, makes you look tan and shimmery, and it TASTES good too (yes, you can lick it! and it is advised by me )

Estee Lauder still sells some of their scents that way. I buy Youth Dew powder for my grandma every year for Christmas.

Yup, dusting powder. Whenever I got some in a gift set of perfume, I'd toss it out.
