*Ladies ONLY trip* Resort Category Poll (new update p.5 #65)

Okay, it was suggested by some that we do a poll to see what resort category people are leaning towards staying in. This poll will not run for very long but it will help give us more of an idea of what everyone wants and everyone can have some say in it.

I voted moderate because I just think it's a easy compromise, the resorts are still quite nice, and it will still be affordable to all. JMO

Remember too that if you are coming with a friend or meeting someone from here, and you both have your hearts set on a certain resort of whatever category, then you can certainly branch out on your own. I'm hoping we can keep the group all together (I think it would add to the fun) but that may not be what everyone wants to do.

So place your vote and once we get a better idea of the category then we can choose a resort.
Oh, by the way, in case anyone missed it the dates from the other poll show that 9/28 thru 10/2 is winning with the majority either not having a preference or choosing those dates. So I think it's safe to say that's when we'll be there. Look out WDW!!

And FYI, so far we have 23 who have said that they will go, and another 12 who are seriously thinking about it.

Just thought I'd note that the weekend of the trip falls during "Value" season, so a moderate can be gotten for a good price. There are also typically FL Resident and AP holder discounts during this time.

I'd like to stay at a Moderate. We almost always stay at Value, and I'd like to do something new.

I'm willing to stay anywhere, but I'd definitely like to share a room so the cost will be lower. That's the determining factor as to whether or not I'll go.

I voted Moderate because I think meeting in the middle is a wonderul compromise for everyone. For everyone on a budget, it will be value season and we can likely get a group discount to boot. If not, I'm thinking we will have folks with AP/FL discounts that will really help.

You're right, I didn't put it in the poll, simply because I don't know that much about it. I think most of the people going so far are more interested in a room, but those who have DVC that's great if that works better for them. Maybe they can PM you?

Same here.
I think most people have said they have no problem sharing, and would in fact welcome the idea. For some of us (myself included) that's the only way we can think about staying at a moderate resort.

Yea, no big deal. Just thought I would throw it out there in case anyone was interested. If there are others out there we could always pool and get a grand villa, they sleep 12 I think. Might be nice to have a big place where we could hang out and/or meet up.

I voted for a moderate, but it really doesn't matter that much to me where we stay.

Also, you can sometimes get good discounts at WL and AKL for not much more than a moderate.

I dont know if you are aware of this but if you book 10 or more rooms you qualify for a Leisure group discounts. I did this for a group of our friends last Oct and we got some pretty good rates.
Im more than willing to help out if you guys are interested. What are the dates?

I voted moderate and would also need to share, but I am up for anything! this will be my first official "vacation" to disneyworld as I am a west coaster. I have been 2 times before...once for a day and once on a travel agent fam trip so I didn't get to do just what I wanted and we only got like 2 hours at each park. I just couldn't be more excited, and it helps that dh is very supportive! I just can't believe we are really doing this!

I think that we have at least 23 signed up as a go, 2 to a room is at least 11 rooms. Can you give us an expample of the rates?

I love love love the option of renting points for grand villas..Let me do some research
