Barb, do you have any info on this? Is it only offered on the three day cruise? My friend and I are going in October to take advantage of the $99 cruise, and this is something we might be interested in. What does it cost, what are the times, and what all does it include? Is there any way in advance to book this, or do you need to wait until you are on board? Any info is appreciated. Thanx in advance.

I don't think this is offered on the Magic at all...I know for sure that it's on the 3-day Wonder, and I suspect the 4-day too. It lasts for two hours...you meet in the women's locker room, where you take a shower (there are private showers in there) and wash your hair so they can put a treatment into it. Then you are taken into a private treatment room for a facial and massage. When that is done, you go into the Rainforest and relax in one of the heated tile loungers (I have photos of them on www.castawayclub.com) while they do a foot massage on you. Then chocolates and champagne are served and you have half an hour to hang out in the Rainforest. They only do four women at a time because there are only four loungers. I think it's offered from 6-8 and from 8-10, so you have to work it around your dinner. With only 8 slots available, you'll want to book this one EARLY!!! I can't remember the cost, but I think it was comparable to the Absolute Face & Body (around $144 maybe?). Natsmom and I are planning to do this on our 9/5 cruise, so we can give more details afterwards...it's been a while since I've done it.

thanx Barb, I knew you would have the answer. Is it only on the one night when the ship is in Nassau?

I think my wife would love to do this with her mom...where can I find out if they offer it on the 4 day?

On the 3-day it is definitely on Nassau day.
I don't know about the 4-day...I will know when we return from our three-peat in early Sept., but maybe another DISer can help before then. It is usually listed in the Navigator, but not always (probably due to the limited availability). The times will most likely change due to the new dinnertimes.

I just called to check a couple things on my ressie for October, and asked the person about Ladies Night at the Spa. this person had never heard of it, and was asking me to describe what it was. He put me on hold while he called the ship directly (or so this is what he told me) and indeed said that this was offered, and the cost was $150 per person on Nassau day in port...He asked me how I had heard about this, and I kind of chuckled to myself as I told him about some friends that had done this before...

I tell you sometimes you can learn so much from these boards, that wouldn't DCL be hapoy to have us all as employees?;)

I called DCL Friday to see if they would offer this special on our 4night on Sept 22nd...the person told me they have no idea...the spa runs different specials and we would have to wait till we board to find out??? So I guess it will be a big surprise!

I want to know more about the $99 cruise. Did you get a cruise for $99 or $99 per night? and how??? I want THAT deal!

Disney made an unprecedented offer to stimulate the sluggish cruise market in the aftermath of 9/11. Folks who sailed on the 4-day and 7-day cruises in January received a coupon to return for a 3-day cruise this Fall for $99 + taxes and port charges. Pretty good deal that we'd never seen before and will probably never see again.

I recieved an email reply back from DCL...they also stated that they had NO way to tell if the ladies night would be offered on out 4 night cruise. They said just wait till we get on board and ask then. Oh well!!

I don't know if it will be on your cruise, but it was definitely offered on our 4 day on July 21. It was also offered on our Nassau day. Can't give you any more details though as DW and I opted for the Surial Bath instead.

The ladies night was offered on the July 28th 4-day Wonder, and it was a wonderful experience! It was offered two times, 6:00 - 8:00pm, and 8:00 - 10:00pm. There were 8 of us at the 8:00 to 10:00 time slot. After all meeting in the spa reception area, each was escorted to a treatment room. We were not asked to shower this time, but were given a robe to change into. After the treatments (back of body massage, facial, foot, hand, and a bit of cranial massage, where they put the hair treatment stuff in your hair), you have about 45 minutes left. You put on your swimsuit, and the robe, and go into the rainforest area. They explain all the saunas and different showers, which are really cool. You sit and talk with the other 7 women, enjoying the rainforest as you wish. They also give you champagne and chocolate covered strawberries, etc. The 8 of us ladies had a blast!! Well worth the $150 plus tip, for a very special treat.
