I love while you were sleeping with bil pullman and sandra bullock in it,.

Put me down as another vote for this one! It was the first video I wore out and I was so excited when it came out on DVD (even though there were no extras.)

I still cry everytime...

Jo

Shirley Valentine
Bridget Jones
Mean girls (although that probably comes under category Teen flick)
oh and Love, actually

I love Serendipity, Dirty Dancing, Bridget Jones, Sleepless in Seattle and Pretty in Pink :flower: There are many others too, I am a real chick flick girl

All of the above especially Muriel's Wedding and Bridges of Madison County.

All of those 80's brat-pack films, some have already been mentioned, I love St Elmo's Fire and Pretty in Pink, also the Breakfast Club and About Last Night.

Also love Sleeping with the Enemy, Dying Young, Beaches, Message in a Bottle, Singles...I want to go home and watch a DVD now instead of being at work!

Natalie,
Don't make us pick just one! I very much like every movie mentioned so far and would like to add the vintage movies (for vintage chicks) Steel Magnolias and Fried Green Tomatoes and a newer one (for newer chicks) The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants .

Have to agree with Meet Joe Black - also a Brad fan. Another fave has to be Sleepless in Seattle - can watch the ending over & over!

Mrs. OhioTony votes for Ghost...as a single tear runs down her cheek! :sad1:

Definately another vote for Dirty Dancing.

I don't know if you'd call it a chick flick but I love Pride and Prejudice and am looking forward to the new version.  Mr Darcy

Sam xx

Patrick Swayze's high waisted trousers :teeth:

ooops, sorry I meant Dirty Dancing ;)

Got to be Sleepless in Seattle, with nice wine and chocolate of course. Oh and no children laughing as you cry at the ending

I love Return to me and Moulin Rouge. I love a good blub! ;)
