If I were divorced too, I would casually date him after the divorce was final and long finished. Get serious with or see him as a potential mate? No.

I don't think that was a very fair assessment of her statement. She said she wouldn't mind dating him, not that she wanted to be the one he was cheating with. Fact is, at some point both of them will be dating again. You can't blame those people for what the children are now going through. (And I do mean future relationships, and not Jon's current ones.)

I said no, but not because of the kids or Kate. Everyone has some type of baggage, and you work with what you get. I wouldn't date him because he is very passive aggressive, because he doesn't hold a job, and because he has proven himself to be a cheater.

Shallow: I don't think he's remotely attractive. Not one thing about him is physically attractive to me. Including that sullen pout he wears on his face most of the time.

Practical: I would never date a guy with one kid, let alone 8. Don't want to deal with the ex-wife drama (and whoa! talk about drama given that it's Kate), don't want to be the evil stepmother, don't want my income taken for his child support payments. Don't want to be even a stepparent to 8 kids - no way, no how is that a lifestyle I want.

Emotional: He's a passive aggressive spoiled snot and a hypocrite to boot. Complains endlessly about the show and loss of privacy, but then engages in behavior designed to keep him in the public eye and pimps out his own kids.

I'm sorry but his time to be young and single was BEFORE he had eight kids. I understand that not all relationships work out but come on, show a little class for your kids sake and your WIFE's sake (since the divorce isn't final yet).
