Ladies - how often do you wash your....

bras?? My gf and I were talking about this today. She washes hers after every wearing, so she has a fresh bra every day of the week. I wash mine after every two wearings, unless it's a hot summer day and I've been sweating all over the place! She tells me how gross that is. Am I the ONLY one who does this??? Please let there be at least one other person out there who does this so I don't feel like such a freak!

I don't necessarily wash my bras after every use either. So there's at least two of us out there.

I don't wash mine after every wearing. Sometimes after 2, sometimes even after 3 depending on the bra. I'll wash it when it needs it. I'm like you.

You're not alone. I average around 2-3 times per bra. When I only had 1 bra, that was difficult. Now I have 3, so I don't have to laundry as often, LOL.

I'm with you. I'll wash it every 2-3 wearings if all I've been doing is sitting at home at the computer. If I've done something to get it all sweaty, that's another thing, but just daily use? Why not?

I don't wash mine with every use either. Bras are SO delicate, and they get torn up when they get washed. Well, at least mine do...because my washer EATS bras!

Besides, my bras work hard for the money, if you know what I mean....

I'm like you too. I've even been in the situation like disneynutt1225 when I've been down to 1 bra and I admit, it is difficult but somehow I managed.

At least you didn't post about washing your PANTIES after every two days. Then you might get a few heated responses.

It's funny, but until someone mentioned how often they wash various household items (sheets, towels, etc) and then started discussing jeans and bras it had never occurred to me that people didn't wash their bras every day. I was glad to find out that I didn't need to! The really funny thing is that I wash my sheets every couple weeks--I figured that one out for myself (see, I do have half a brain ) and I wash my towels weekly, normally using the bath towels that whole time, changing them if I need to). I've always worn pants more than one day unless they were visibly dirty, but with all the pet hairs we have and me being such a slob they do look dirty quickly. In summer my bras do get washed more often. And yes, my panties get washes every day. EWWWWWW!

I usually wear each bra twice unless I've been gardening or working out. What amazes me more than anything is the folks that have only one bra. Maybe I'm the freak here, but I have at least 15 bras. I love shopping for under garments - I have probably close to 40 pair of panties. Anyone else out there that has an undie collection??

That's about how much mine run, too. I have 3 bras--nice ones. I have some old ones I wear occasionally when I'm going to be all sweaty.

When I was about 14, I would wear a bra 2 or 3 times befire washing it. A friend of mine once said to me - "EEEEEWWWW... wearing a bra twice before washing it is like wearing a tampon twice."

Been washing them after each wear ever since.

I do! My sister works for a lingerie store so I always buy bras from them. (I don't really like their undies all that much)
