I love flowers and Chris buys me plenty. Not arrangements though. He buys me bags of bulbs and I grow them in the ground. I like it that way. I get fresh cut flowers all season long.

I can take them or leave them. I used to like them a lot. But then there were too many funerals and I lost my fondness of them. Whenever I'm in a small room with flowers or a large room with lots, right away I think of a funeral home. :crazy2:

Most recently, my FL realtor sent me a beautiful arrangement to thank me for listing and selling with him. :) And I bought a bunch of roses to have here on Mothers' Day. I won't have them for a long time now.

Love flowers as long as I don't get roses which I am allergic to.

I love getting flowers! When I was in high school I always felt left out because I always saw girls getting flowers...on birthday's, Christmas, anniversaries, but mostly Valentine's Day. I always wished someone would buy me just one flower so I could feel a little special. Now that I'm with my boyfriend, I've gotten flowers on a few occasions and it makes me feel special and realize how sweet he is. :D

I love the beauty of them, but would rather see a field of beautiful wild flowers or a garden of LIVE flowers. And DH knows how much I think they are a huge waste of money. He knows better. No flowers! A Disney print or sericel........... now that's ok. :teeth:

I love it when my ds picks me a flower (or in some cases, a weed that looks like a flower;)). I haven't received many flowers other than from him. I also tend to kill plants easily. One year for my bday, my parents sent me a bouquet of jolly ranchers.:teeth:

I must say that I didn't vote because there isn't a section for me. I used to love it when DH would send me flowers when we were dating or newly married. Now....I get annoyed when he sends me flowers because I think that money could have been spent on paying a bill or groceries. I would never ever tell him that though because that would break his heart. So, I tell him that I love them (which they are always beautiful) and that I love him and leave it at that.

I voted take or leave them...

I love flowers and find they really cheer up my house. But they are so expensive in Texas. When I lived in California they were much more affordable. So now I buy myself flowers only every now and again. DH used to pick me flowers, I loved that. Now he buys them about 3 times a year for me, he picks them up at the grocery store and delivers them in person. DH knows better than to waste money on a "florist" I used to work for one and I know all the flowers come from the same place. Plus I prefer to arrange them myself. My kids pick me wildflowers all spring long and are always so pleased to see them on display in my vase.

So I guess I love getting them but hate spending money on them.

I love getting flowers and I always think about the money that we spent but I still love getting them. What I really love is getting flowers for no reason at all from my dh. Then I know that he is just thinking of me. However, it doesn't have to be just flowers. I love getting any type of a gift as a surprise. Those are the best type.

I'd rather have dh tell me he's got a babysitter and wants to take me on a date! I'd love it if he rented a chick flick for us to watch together.

I love the notion of flowers, but the reality doesn't thrill me simply because if they have a strong scent they bother my asthma/allergies.

I love fresh flowers. I wish I could afford to have them in the house year round, but I can't so I'll just keep wishing. :p Dh rarely sends me flowers, but I occasionally buy some just to enjoy.

I've always joked that when dating it is wonderful to get flowers, but once married I tend to think "how much did he spend on those". :D

When we were engaged DH made sure I had a single live rose so I would get one a week from March until our wedding in October.

I really love when he suprises me with little just because flowers. We have Lily of the Valley growing next to our driveway and he'll go out and pick a small bunch and put them into one of my small Waterford vases.

He also surprised me with flowers on our last Disney trip. It is the little unexpected ones I like best.

We don't really go for the forced holidays like Valentine's day.
