Ladies, How many lipsticks do you own?

I was cleaning out my bathroom today and noticed I had quite a few lipsticks, so I decided to count...137!!! And there's probably some more stashed in the van, in my purse, my desk at work, etc. Guess it's time to do a little fall cleaning and get rid the ones I never wear. Any of you ladies who like to wear the warmer tones are welcome to come on over and help yourself!

137! I'm not sure how many I have. Probably about 20 or so. But I only use one on a regular basis.

Probably 4 or 5. I'm kind of "low maintenance" in the make-up department.

The one I paid $16.00 for is the one that lasts the least amount of time on my lips. It just wears off.

The one that lasts the longest is...the one i paid $1.49 for at Wal-mart.

I confess I have a lipstick fetish! I used to work for a Cosmetic company so I have tons!

Maybe about 15-20 or so. About half of them came free with stuff from Clinique. Funny thing is I hardly wear any make up at all though.

Just 1!! I can't stand the way make-up feels, so I hardly ever wear it.
But, chapsticks, that's another story.

I don't think I have 137--but I do have lots!

Some are so old I should probably throw them away!

I also have colors I can't wear (deep reds) that I got as a bonus from Clinique.

I mainly stick with the pinks and mauve colors, they go best with my coloring.

The "free" ones are usually a shade of red or are too orangey for me. So I have a stockpile of those colors. I don't know why I just don't toss them!

I have no lipstick, 1 lip gloss(with a hint of color), and 2 lip balms(Blistex DCT).
I dont like how lipstick looks on me. I feel like a clown.

I have about 5.
My favorite is called "Sweet Violet" from Clinique.

Only 5, and I really only use one of them regularly. Others are way too red. I'm more of a copper/mauve girl. (Why then do I purchase lipsticks that are too red? That's a good question).

I am in total awe....I LOVE lipsticks, and am a warm too....."rich contrasting autumn" to be exact.

I think I only have about 50.

About 2 months ago I went into a store that was closing down and I purchased 45 lipsticks. They were on sale does that count. I just love lipsticks. I can't even walk out my front door without lipstick on. I feel naked without it.

Is that normal?

But lipstick is the only makeup I wear.

I also had well over 100 lipsticks.. Notice I said "had" - in my recent cleaning frenzy I pitched all but TWO!! Also ditched all my mascara (haven't worn it in ages), and about 80% of my eye shadows..

i just LOVE this "toss it out" mind set!!

Zero. But plenty of chapstick, Blistex, Carmex, etc. . .my husband says that I am "addicted."

Karen!!! you bought 45 lipsticks all at once??!! I think it's time for me to step down and relinquish my throne as the lipstick queen!!! LOL!

Actually, I think I've probably only purchased 4 or 5 lipsticks in the last 10 years...almost all of mine come in the free gifts from Lancome. I usually stock up on cosmetics when there's a free gift promotion so that I rarely need to buy mascara, lipstick, or even eyeshadow anymore. Even if I only like about 10 or 20% of the colors they give away, it's enough to keep me in lipstick for a lifetime. I've also found that I may think I don't like a certain color because it's too dark, too red, or whatever, but mixed with another color it looks great!

I remember telling my grandmother one time how much lipstick I had and she asked if I ever wondered how much money I spent on all that stuff. I remarked offhandedly 'oh, I didn't pay for any of them'. The next day she was on the phone to my mother to talk about my 'problem'...she thought I was a kleptomaniac!!
