I might take a shirt off the dirty laundry stack IF it was barely worn to begin with, it was ON TOP of the pile, there were no stains or anything that needed to be laundered. And, only if I was in a pinch!

Underwear? NO! I'd have to just go without!

Shirt? Never done it, but I wouldn't be above it as long as it didn't have stains and didn't stink.
But I would NEVER pull underwear out of the dirty laundry. I can go without underwear, and that's exactly what I'd do..

Shirt- yes. If I knew it was one that I had only worn for a few hours, I have been know to pull it out of the hamper, spray some Febreeze on it, give it a shake and a fluff and wear it.

Underwear- no. I have tons of underwear so I always have clean underwear. It's one of my quirks.

If I have only worn a shirt for a little bit and it wasnt dirty, I hang it on the side of the hamper just incase I need one to wear in a jiffy! Almost never ends up being worn again but I have done it a few times.

I keep second and third string drawers for when my regulars are dirty and I haven't done the laundry yet. By the time I get down to the practice squad I'm uncomfortable enough to drop everything and do wash.
