Danielle- I'm so sorry about your experience!

I have really thick hair too and had mine razored a couple of times. It turned out okay but I wasn't crazy about it. Your stylist must have really gone Razor Happy for it to look so noticeable!!

Honestly, I'd make the hour trip to your regular stylist and have her chop a few inches off. Then, I'd try to find cute hair accessories and wait (patiently! or try to..) for it to grow out.

Thanks Rora! It's very noticable. I remember looking down at the floor when she was done and saw all my hair and trying to contain myself!

I'm waiting back to hear from my old stylist to see if she thinks a few inches off will help.

danielle.. i am a hairdresser.. and I have also had very bad haircuts.. the last real cut I had was 5 years ago when i had my son.. i had grown my hair out so that I could donate it.. the haircut was So bad.. and the girl ended up blaming it on the fact that I had my then 9 month old son with me.. it WASNT HIM, IT WAS HER..
I went back there and had the owner check it out.. she was appalled.. gave me all my money back and unfortunately all I could really do was let the hair grow out..
Also, a razor cut can be good... but.. I find that a hair cut done strictly with a razor looks great the first time its done, and then not so great after that..

Wow, she blamed your son? That's a good one!

This was the first time after having a hair cut after the stylist dried my hair that it looked bad. You know when you get your hair cut you can never get it to look as good as it does when the stylist is done? I was actually speechless and she knew I was unhappy but I didn't know what to say. I think I was in shock.

But I think like other people said, she cut so much into it, it looks bad and took away all the wave I had.
