Ladies - ever been to a "toy" party?

I've been and at my last one the presenter was a grandmotherly type lady. She was so funny and it was interesting listening to her talk about the various *ahem* devices. We laughed so much.

And no, I've never bought anything even though friends have.

And for the poster who asked....Yes, they are much more fun than Avon and tupperware parties! Though I did get the worst case of giggles seeing our hostesses mom (a little older lady with white hair) with a lap FULL of toys.

6:30 in the morning and I actually read every post. Hmmm, you can see where my mind is. I have been to a lingerie party. What i want to know, was " Was Tim the tool man there?"

DH & I co-hosted one of these parties about 5 years ago. It was a couples party...oh my was it funny! Most of the ladies were blushing behind their little catalogs. We had a great time. As a matter of fact several of the people who attended always ask us when we'll have another. Like I said it was fun, but I could never sell the stuff myself...some of the words the consultant had to use just won't come out of my mouth without a giggle.

My DD is having a small party here while we are in WDW! A friend of hers is getting married and they thought it would be fun! The plan is they will all buy something for the bride to be. The rep called last night and told her that she couldn't do the party but if they didn't mind she had someone who would do it. DD said that was fine. WELL, the fill in is a guy. She isn't telling any of the other girls...

I could never go to a party. Last time I got involved in a thread about the products at the parties, I was so clueless I had to have everything explained to me. Then I got so embarrassed I got out of hand.

We also laughed about how they have things that light up! Why you need lights on it, I'm not quite sure! LOL!

Good question! Did it have a horn too!

Oh, I'm out of here before I embarrass myself all over again.

Kermit, I hate to tell you that there are some "Surprise Party" reps in our area. The lady that did the party I went to was from Liberty - LOL. Who knew!!!! The party was a ton of fun and I have to say I was nervous at first, but really enjoyed it by the end of the night.
